Looking for the NYR to snap a 6 games losing streak tonight. Columbus is a great cure for a long losing skid. This is the first of back to back meetings between these two clubs.

Frogy has me sold on the Habs under. Philly could have a bit of a letdown tonight after Sat. against NYR. Philly might also be looking ahead to tomorrow nights against Ott. which will no doubt be a physical game.

Playing:

NYR -.5(-180)
Philly/Mont. u5(120)

Also playing a little CBB for those of you interested.
Texas +1.5, Clev St. -4, AF/NewM. o123 & Lakers -9 in the NBA.

Normally I don't like to post other sports on the hockey forum but I have been hitting CBB lately.

GL tonight!

Your a good man wigs, glad to see that you like the Horns in this spot. I can't see the Red Raiders hanging with the Horns when it comes to their inside game. Okl. manhandled them on the boards on Sat.

Great to see Modano P.O.T.W. 7 goals in 4 games. Man this guy is on a tear with 26 to date. I am going down to Mont. on Mar.16 to see the Stars play since they do not visit Ott. this year.

yeah Horns, it takes streaks like this sometimes and then i realize how nice it is to watch him day in day out since i watch most stars' games. some of the things he can do by himself are astonishing, i cant wait to see him in the olmpics although i dont expect usa to win, modano was the best player they had in 1998. looks like he realizes the stars' deficiencies at winger and has just said F this, i guess i have to score. last night they even were throwing around the centers together( 2 of the 3 that is on the same line)

i havent been up to dallas yet for a game, but am itching to go soon. also cant wait for the olympics. their is nothing like attending a NHL game(especially when you sit down low!!)

good luck, go Horns(you and the university)

A Horn fan in Canada? How'd you manage to get all the way up there?

I follow football recruiting pretty closely and I'm placing a link to a funny story that I posted on the NCAA football board.

0-2 tonight YTD 63-40

Just flat out brutal. If you are the NYR and you let Columbus beat you in your own building.........well then you have more problems than you think. Winless in 7 now for NYR. Nobody can tell me that the Jackets are even an average team because they are not. I watched that game at length and even the most die hard Jackets fan could not sit their and tell me that this team is average. I really believe that last years Columbus team was better than this years.

As for Mont. well Theodores hot string went cold in a hurry. Just flat out missed this game.

So far 1-1 in CBB. The Horns outrebounded Tech they way I thought they would and that was the difference as is in most CBB games. Still had to sweat that one out in OT.

Here is hoping the over in the New Mexico game and the Lakers come in tonight so I can at least get the split.

Hope everyone else did better than I have so far tonight.

Fel. Monk,

Thanks for the great link about the Big 12 next year and more importantly our Horns. I have been a follower for about 10 years now along with ND as my other cherished school. Hope to see you post hockey on a consistent basis. I am a big Stars fan and Modano is one of my favourites.

DON'T WORRY BUDDY YOU'LL GET THEM TOMORROW. NYR REALLY PISSED ME OFF. WATCHED THE GAME THEY WERE OUTPLAYED. THEY COULD HAVE BARRIED THE GAME SHORTHANDED A FEW TIMES BUT COULDN'T FINISH THE PLAY.

IM,

I am with ya, one problem that I noticed more tonight was how NYR can't roll 4 lines at all, heck they have a hard time rolling 3 lines. This team is sliding back in a hurry along with NYI. Both NY teams got out of the gate early and are lucky they were able to bag some points early in the season because they are going to need them, it would not surprise me at all to see both NY teams miss the playoffs.

Lindros penalty at the end of the game was what really screwed us.
