Hey everyone - hope you are all having a good week and best of luck for this Week 5 NFL...

Can this be the week I get in the positive? Been a struggle so far and slowly crawling out of the hole, and I believe these 2 plays will be winners for Sunday...here is what I locked into for the weekend:

Rams -2.5
Risking $2,200 to win $2,000

I'm still seeing some -2.5 on this game out there and some at -3 with some positive juice - now I don't mind taking short road faves - especially getting them at less than 3 - the -2.5 is key as a FG win = a win instead of push - so i'd lean to take a -2.5 over a -3 w/ positive juice...

Anyways I will be at the game Sunday as I always am for the Packer home games - well probably won't make every game this year - I'll let some friends have the tix so they can "enjoy" watching another Packer loss :) - anyways I'll be very surprised if I walk out of Lambeau seeing 70,000 happy faces - most likely it will be the quiet walk out as it's been all year long...I never bet on a team just because i like them - i bet on them because it's a good investment - betting against the Pack this Sunday laying 2.5 i believe is a good investment - Stephen Jackson will run on the Pack, Bulger will have a huge day - Holt and Bruce will have a field day - and don't forget about Curtis and McDonald - those 3rd & 4th WR's - and even the TE Klopfenstein will probably see plenty of openings and catches...best thing that happened this week in Green Bay was Ahmad Carroll getting released - that's never a good thing when the best thing is a player getting released!

Word is Driver is banged up - Green should play but banged up - Furguson doubtful - Jennings is the only bright spot for the team right now - and if he has to go as the #1 - he'll see plenty of double teams...bottom line lay the small number - don't read too much into Rams being on road - they will come away w/ a victory

Kansas City -2.5 (-120)
Risking $2,400 to win $2,000

I bought the hook here and would advise if you do play it...another road favorite here but I like them to move the ball against Arizona and KC's defense has been improved and i think will cause problems for the Cardinals - not much else to say - lay the points!

There they are - my 2 plays for Sunday! I've been real selective this year, and believe these will go 2-0 for Sunday. Good luck if you decide to play them!

Now this is what makes it all worth it! This is what makes all the time handicapping and thinking and trying to play the best plays you can worthwhile.

Just got back from Lambeau a little while ago - i was probably the only happy camper leaving the stadium - definitely got a break today, and sure glad I bought the hook in the Chiefs game - and why i advised to buy the hook - 2.5 so much better than 3...up $4,000 on the day...

Won both by .5 point, nonetheless 2-0 on the day, and the gambling gods evening out some of the close losses i've suffered in the past few weeks...

I stayed patient, stuck within my system - didn't chase losses and am finally in the positive for the year! Took awhile but am there and hope to keep things in the positive...hope you all had a good week this week and best of luck if you play the SNF or MNF game - i'm not playing the SNF - may possibly make a play on MNF - still watching the line movement and looking at the game.

Good luck everyone - have a good rest of the weekend...
