1-1 +2.80 Units so far in the playoffs

Again, in a rush with work. Check back to my series info for match-ups, etc... Sens are a tough road team whereas the NYI has been average at home. Sens will play a very boring but methodical road game the same as the Flyers will tonight. The Sens will wait until the NYI makes a mistake in the neutral zone and pounce on it. First goal tonight will be big. Leaning to the under as well.

Playing:

Ott. -1.5(+200)2 Units

GLTA!

HORNS, I haven't done all that well in the playoffs yet, so I'm not sure if this is a good thing;) :p , but I'm on the Sens big time tonite. Like the Sens to pull away late in the 2nd period:D. Good luck, buddy!

Someone needs to tell Bryan "the Blackhole" Smolinski that he's not Brett Hull and start passing the puck. He must have taken 10 shots in that game but only 1 was on goal. The one time he decides to pass was a beautiful feed to Phillips for the score. This game would have been over in the 1st OT many times. Glad we still got the win, though.

I like the Sens BIG again on Weds, but wanted to get your opinion. NYI played pretty much the whole game with 4 D-men and 3 lines up front, and being a step behind the Sens in both OT's were an understatement. Sens were nailing them all game long, too, really taking the bodies hard. Everyone has to be tired, beat up and deflated. What are your thoughts?? Thanks:D

ddubs,

Couldn't agree with you more. NYI went for it in regulation. The time their D played was very taxing and like you said going with 3 lines eventually burns you in the playoffs, something any hockey expert would tell you. The teams that go deep in the playoffs roll 4 lines and play 6 D. If you don't have depth you will get bumped. As for Wed. night, I like Ott. now more and more. OT looked like the ice was gong downhill for the Sens and NYI had to skate uphill. I agree with you on Smoker, this guy could have ended OT earlier had he just passed to a wide open Havlat. Sens play along the boards was great which allowed them to use speed and blow by a tired defense. Everytime Ott. entered the neutral zone NYI was stacking 3 men along the blueline as if they were protecting a lead, generally something you don't do in a tie game let alone the playoffs. Should be a low scoring game on Wed. night and Sens should pull away late in the second period when fatigue sets in. Hope this helps.

That's enough for me:D. Will probably dump 5 units on them, 2 or 3 tonite, and the rest after the morning skate. Thanks for the input, HORNS. Good luck tomorrow, and GO SENS!!!!!!:D
