What's the O/U on the total for the Cardinals this season?........Th is team is going to make a very strong bid this year........Nice Starting staff....with an upgraded bullpen and the addition of Tino should add more consistency to this already explosive line-up......

KMAC.....The total I see at most books is around 91.5

I definately can see them having good year. I think when Big Mac was in the lineup last year, it actually costs them more wins than you think. Definately are an improved team, but the OVER/UNDER of 91.5 seems like a really tight number. No opinions on playing that total from me

Good luck to you this year.

NDN........

NDN........

Seems like a pretty solid number...need to look more into what LaRussa wants as his 4 or 5 man rotation and who is gonna be the set-up man and main closer which I think will be Jason Iser......I leaning towards the OVER 91.5......With MAC in the line-up last yr I couldnt agree more with you because they couldn't get that consistency with him always being in and out...

Matt Morris, Daryl Kile, Woody Williams, Bud Smith, Andy Benes are their projected starters. Steve Kline & Dave Veras are the two main set up guys and Isringhaussen as the closer will form a very strong bullpen that will make it tough for any opponent to comeback after the 7th inning. If JD Drew remains healthy he will put up unbelievable #s and the rest of the lineup is stacked and I am looking for Renteria to show vast improvment from last year. If you want a guy to coach this team I believe Tony LaRussa is the perfect fit especially with the improved and versitile bullpen. I have the Cards at 92 and I took the Reds under at 76 1/2 tthe Reds started at 78.

COOL BEV......

COOL BEV......

Just a little FYI....I have followed this team since I was knee high to a grasshopper....and just love the direction that LaRussa has this team going in......Renteria had a very down season last year and think that he is back healthy and shooting for a very solid outing this yr......Matheny behind the plate has a ROCKET for an arm...not much of a stick in which the Cards usually never have in the 2 spot......I think that Palanco is going to play a HUGE role this year and could become the MVP of this team due to him being able to play a lot of positions, giving other Quality starters on the team their necessary rest...
