I going to post all my bowl picks here.

Bowl Record 51-46-3
Overall Record 313-309-15 YTD

BYU -11.5 2 units **WINNER**
BYU turned their season around and won 4 out of last 5. The usually score a lot of points in bowl games. UTEP is just overmatched in this game. BYU should win by at least 17.

Fresno St +1 1 unit **LOSER**
NIU lost their coach at the end of the season. That usually distracts teams heading into a bowl game. NIU also is coming off a disappointing loss in the MAC Championship game. I believe Fresno St will be the more focused team here.

Ohio +1.5 **LOSER**
Troy seems like they would be the right side in this game, but I keep thinking about how I went with the favorite in the App St/Nova game and lost. So, I'm going with my initial lean of Ohio here.

Good Luck! :toast:

S. Miss +2.5 2 units **LOSER**
S. Miss usually plays big in bowl games. I've only seen one Louy game all year and they stunk.

Boise St -17 1 unit **WINNER**
Some people think Boise will have a let down after being denied another BCS berth. They didn't let down the week after the Nev loss and they won't come out flat here either. Utah bounced back after two straight losses against TCU and Notre Dame, but they aren't as good as Boise St. They may keep it close for a half, but the Broncos should pull away in the 2H.

San Diego St -5 2 units **WINNER**
This is a home game for the Aztecs. Brady Hoke has the team going in the right direction. Navy will not be able to contain the two WRs for SDSt. This should be a blowout.

Hawaii -10 3 units **LOSER** FUCK HAWAII
Hawaii is deadly on the island. I may play the over as well before game time because this should be a high scoring affair. Hawaii's high scoring offense should put up 50 by themselves.

I went ahead and added:

Utah/Boise St Over 57.5 2 units **LOSER**

I think in another thread I said if I played the total I would bet the under. For some reason I bet the over when I got home.

SDSt/Navy Under 58.5 2 units **WINNER**

With the field conditions looking grim for tonight, I just don't see them putting up a lot of points.

Hawaii/Tulsa Over 73.5 2 units **WINNER**

I see this as a 48-38 type game. Both offenses can score, but Hawaii is lethal on the island. Even if Tulsa can't score that much, Hawaii may be good for 56 by themselves.

Hey Joe..was wondering where you think your teams strengths and weaknesses lie.

For my boys..

Strengths...great o-line and rbs...very accurate heady qb...solid receivers

Weaknesses...I think our def can be had by a diverse offense...Watt is a stud DE...special teams can also be sketchy at times.

Badgers are very psyched to be in Rose Bowl..lots of upperclassmen provide solid leadership.

Would love to hear some TCU scoop.

Thanks.

TCU is the mirror image of Wisconsin on offense. That is what most people don't see. Both teams scored the same amount of points this year. Your QB just beat out Dalton for the Unitas Award. TCU has a great OL, three RBs and also QB that runs, and explosive WRs. However, TCU also has a great defense.

The main weakness TCU has is they will tend to let up the intensity on defense and allow a big play here or there. The first game against Oregon St and the game against San Diego St are perfect examples. Patterson will literally stop trying to score in the 3rd qtr if TCU has a lead. In the past, if a team had a good TE, TCU would allow the middle to be open all game long. However, TCU has pretty much stopped that. I'm not saying it can't be had, but it won't go for a big play anymore.

I honestly believe, TCU's special teams will be the difference in this game. Either by getting big plays on punt returns or the kicker missing kicks. Wisconsin is not the only offense that likes to hold the ball for long drives. So does TCU.

It's going to be a good one. I'll be in Section 15 Row 4.
