Please take a moment to vote on how much youd like the entry fee to be in this year's Hippo-Phart Contest. In years past, it's been $25. Last year, some people expressed interest in upping the ante a bit.

This poll is inherently flawed. First of all, this contest is not a democracy, as has been blatantly displayed in the past by various monarchic leaders. Next, $25 does not account for inflation over the past five years. $40 is just plain dumb. $50 is astronomical - people might start to take this seriously.

I'm holding on to the last tenants of my freedom, and thus I refuse to vote on the grounds that it would give some credence to the thought that money is actually what matters in this contest. As just one of many plebians, we should all know by now that stupidity is what really counts.
