considering boston and oakland are two franchises known for the choke jobs when the chips are down, i dont see how this isnt the yankees pennant to lose. i do think minnesota is a dangerous team. boston and oakland have the talent and the pitching, but theyve choked with better teams before. ill wait for oakland to get out of the 1st round before worrying about them. and you know its gonna be someone like john olerud or miguel cairo who will jam the red sox aaron boone-style when it counts

you may be right, but the yankees are still up 2 1/2 games in the al east and now face tampa at home while boston travels cross country to oakland. boston has been playing the best baseball of their life while they still trail the yankees while they are playing some of the worst baseball of the season. no pitching and no timely hitting, as soon as boston hits a skid, that is if they do, they yankees will do what they always do and put this division away. no way the yankees dont win the al east.
