I was still asleep from working a latenight bar shift when my wife woke me up saying there's been a accident.......

I was between classes in college and was wandering through the mall when I saw a group of people standing around the radio shack store looking at the TV. I walked over and found out what had happened. A sad day in our nation's history.

I was in the 7th grade and we got to go to the library to watch it. One of those days in life you just don't forget.

Thanks for posting this. I was in 3rd grade and like millions of other children, a big chunk of my innocence blew up with that shuttle and her crew as we watched it live.

I was asleep because I was working the nite shift too. When I woke up my told me about it. Had a friend of mine there at the time and the pictures he had were unbelievable. Sad day.
