28 days later: the movie review and thoughts

ok, so the Toronto Madjack crew went out last nite to york university pub....(Extrapolator, where were you...? LOL)....had a few brews, met some girls....(don't read too much into that....)
and then decided to see if MEESTERMIKE was at his "establishment"...and to our surprise.....no, he wasn't there...

damn, i wanted another cuban seeeeeeeegarrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

so, we decide to go watch a movie....which was "28 days later".

my thoughts:

I thought this was an above average movie....with a somewhat less than original plot....:

A deadly virus hits the United Kingdom and within 28 days it has spread across the land, turning usually sane people into raging zombielike infectants. Cillian Murphy plays Jim, who wakes up from a coma in a hospital after missing all the action outside.
As he wanders through the desolate Lonson streets he finds Selina (Naomi Harris), Hannah (Megan Burns) and Frank (Brendan Gleeson). Together they travel north in search for the antidote, but find that it's not only the virus that they need to fear.

All i have to say was that it was good in the suspense, fear area, but the plot was a bit hard to believe.

I'd like to analyse it a bit more, but i don't wanna give away the plot.

The plot sucked, but the atmosphere that was created throughout was quite awesome...REALLY good.

I give it an 8 out of 10 overall for entertainment purposes.

Gore (no, not AL) factor : 6 out of 10
they didn't show enough close up killings for my liking.

An 8 out of 10 . .. . are u nuts Chris .. that rating is only for the entertainment in Mike's place ..

Chris .. u were drunk . .dont think u really noticed what was going on . .. u were looking at the girls on the left in the row behind u more than u were lookin @ the screen.

I would give this movie a rating of -20 out of 10. Basterds drove me crazy. What a waste of time and money. They shud use this movie in Texas for the death penalty. Instead of the gas or a bullet (which is waste of tax payers money) just put all of these poor condemned people in a theatre and show them this movie 2 - 3 times. Trust me they will repent their sins .. .

I would really like to check the IQ of the director and producer and the morons who made this movie. Only thing they proved is that by advertising the right way you can draw a lot of foolish earthlings and a crazy Vulcan to watch the movie.

Only thing the movie was good for was making out with your girl since both of you dont want to turn your head towards the screen.

A waste of $13 . . I would not watch this dumb movie even if they paid me $13.

The Great Storyline:
Monkeys are infected with rage after showing them multiple screens of men fighting. U fockin morons .. . . Just ask the monkeys to put money on SD .. Mets .. Minny .. and then ask them to watch the Closers blow the game for you .. that shud get them infected with rage .. . .

Monkeys bite people .. whole cities are doomed and everyone almost is dead .. one freakin guy and his daughter have christmas bulbs in their apt .. Glow the bulb bcoz u wont get a damn electricity bill . .. .

one army guy has promosed babes to his soldiers .. so he sends out a msg on radio that come in and meet us and we will protect you . .. give me a break . . u moron . .. use a tel and dial 1 - 900 - call - sex

and in the end .. all soldiers are dead .. and our hero and his girl and the daughter stitch a huge flag to attract a place .. .
did not know these guys were super human tailors .. they dont have food to eat and are surviving on coke all the time .. . .



I would highly recommend this movie to people who are deaf and blind. Would save them a lot of torture .. . . (not making fun of these people .. )

They shud show this movie to Saddam and Bin Laden .. jokers will get really tortured .. as it is they are crazy .. this shud drive them over the edge .. .


The only good part of the evening was the vodka and chatting with Chris and Anthony .. ... .. . . .. . .. . .. .

If you want your girl to break up with you for your obvious lack of taste and choice .. .. . . please take her to this movie .. . . she will get so mad .. . then again mebbe a monkey has bitten her before .. .
