earlier i gave out the birds easily over the redskins on monday night with a brief write-up on why the skins would get smoked. well anyone who did not get a chance to bring home the cash on that game, i suggest you jump on the birds this week over tampa. this game will not be nearly as easy as the skins game but the eagles will win this game by at least 10 points. foget the double playoff revenge factor, tampa will be lucky i they put 10 points on the board. without getting into too many details, this will be the eagles 2nd statement game this year.eagles are very FOCUSED for this game as they were the skins game. anyone who follows pro football no teams play at different levels of emotion every week. throw out the jax game, eagles had 2 weeks to prepare and are ready to fly high.

Bobmac, How do you know that the Eagles are "focused" for this game against the Bucs. Aren't they supposed to be focused for every game? It is easy for you to say (take out the Jax game).
What do you mean take out the Jax game, They got thier F**kin asses kicked up and down the field for 60 minutes by a mediocre Jax team. How do you forget about that? And also your comment about the Bucs will be lucky if they score 10 points. The Bucs defense has been showing signs of their old form. They are allowing 9 points a game over the first six. Based on this all they would need to do is score their "lucky"10 points to beat this Philly team. The Bucs are not even a close comparison to the Redskins and for you to insinuate that they will take a double digit beating isn't very smart. This Bucs offense is getting better every week and they are beginning to find the long play. Brad Johnson is one of the most underated QB'S in the league. He takes a beating and gets right up to do it again. One thing about Johnson is he makes very few mistakes. The Bucs offense averages putting the ball in 8 different receivers hands per game which is very tough to defend. And keep in mind that GRUDEN is one of the best young coaching minds in the business. This is not Tony Dungy's Buc's. They are playing well and are also extremely "Focused". I have the utmost respect for the Eagles. You are sadly mistaken if you think Philly will roll the Bucs. One of the best teams in the game + 3.5

Bucs + 3.5

inside info

bobmac, although I agree with your pick about eagles over Bucs this weekend your info does not qualify as inside info. Not many people believe in that kind of stuff anyway. But here is some inside info:
my wife sometimes sleeps naked :brows:

Quantum, this Tampa offense is very offensive, looks just like Dungy's offense:)

should be a good game but Eagles win 21-13

The Jax game was a classic overlook game.

Bucs offense

Bucs offense

EricG, I couldn't disagree with you more. Do you realize that this is the 4th offensive scheme for the Buccaneers in the last 4 yrs? More than 1/2 of the offensive team are new players. The average size of a reciever/ Tight end in the Bucs line up is about 6 1/2 feet tall. No more pussy's like Jaquez Green,Riedel Anthony and Bert Emanuel! It is taking time for this team to gel without question but you never saw T Dungy's offensive throw to 8 different receivers in one game or go to 5 wide outs on a set play. The true beauty of this offense is all the different sets and schemes that keep the defense guessing all of the time. This is Grudens strength. And when the offense does really start clicking it won't be the most fun to watch, but it will get the job done being complimented by the best defense in the NFL. I feel this is the Buccaneers toughest test this year. But if you said to me Ill give you one of the best teams in the league +3.5 points this sunday. I will take it every time. Especially the way dogs have been so dominant this year.

Once again Bucs + 3.5

Quantam Leap,
You know what I am getting sick and tired of you TRYING to put someone down just because you don't agree with them on a game. If you disagree, fine, don't be a dickhead and PRETEND like you know what you are talking about. Also, you are from FL, therefore your opinion is biased and should not be listened to!!!!

Eagles win 24-10 (They will not stop McNabb)

Okay people lets just write our thoughts and rerasonc why we like what we do we are trying to help each other win. This is a pass game for me because of one reason IMO the line is wrong they want the public to take Tampa that is why the line is -3.5 we do have to admit one thing Tampa looks much better and Philly beat Tennessee and Jax did not but beat Philly however they were missing Brunnel. Nevertheless should be a great game just not with my money

Tampa at +3.5 is the play here, IMO. The Bucs have been very good in the role of dog in recent years and they shouldn't have to contend with sub 40 or 35 degree cold like they had to in last year's playoff game. Philly looked good crushing bad teams but lets see how good they are when they get eyeballed by a good team.

"the bunker"
i hate philly as a home favorite

i hate philly as a home favorite

but they very seldom lose 2 in a row...this would be their 3rd loss.....and truthfully, tampa`s wins haven`t been against the cream.....none of the teams they`ve beaten has a 500 record....still,a little leary of philly as a home favorite....g.l.

Tampa offense

Tampa offense

quantum, I agree tampa's offensive schemes look much better than last year, but they are still not producing much, they are only averaging a little over three touchdowns per game against mostly bad or average teams (balt, rams, cinci, atlanta cleveland). The problem being that a big chunk of those points have been scored by the deffense. It will be much tougher this weekend to improve on that with a tough Pilly defense at home.
BTW- you can add Keyshawn Johnson to that list.

Joey, F*ck you you pussy ass mother F**ker. If you don't like my take on the game then go F**k yourself. I don't give a s**t how tired you are of me voicing my opinion. In my messages it was simply stated why I thought the Bucs would not be double digit losers. Maybe your IQ isn't high enough to understand my thoughts and that lower IQ of yours made you think that I was attacking other members of the forum. That is was usually case with "slower individuals". By the way what king of name is JOEY. Is sounds like a pussy name to me.

Wow Quantam you really told me. You know what you prick , I would love it, if I had the chance to put your big mouth in it's place and believe me my friend, I would. Despite you thinking that you weren't putting down other members of the forum, I'm sure others would agree that it sure didn't sound that way. I think that you have a serious problem and I would really like to help you, however, I do not like cowards. Someone that goes out of their way to try and be a tough guy on line is a coward. Now, if we were standing face to face, TRUST ME your words would be completely different. Have a nice day!!!:) :) :) :)
