:nono: you and i both know that this town is the arm pitt of the U.S. It used to be alot of fun before the drug lords in Juarez started shooting people. Don't cross any more to the sports books there. Their lines used to be 2-4 points off and i used to bet 5 dimes over there and 5 dimes the other way with locals back in the day for a middle. not much risk but when the lines were -2 there and -6 in the U.S. it used to be alot of fun hoping for 3,and 4 to come in. took a shower and pitt scored again, nice. I knew they would score 13, but did'nt ever dream in the first 8 minutes of the third. good luck guys, just need el paso to cover know. I actually lost a dime on the first half of the pitt game, but was driving and could'nt post, i am happy i didnt . That's what I heard when I was out there last yr, for a mariachi conference in las cruces. Many people told me that they don't cross the border anymore. I did cross over, and saw multiple businesses unoccupied. And the sportsbooks as u mentioned. I couldn't believe how cheap things were over there, but on the other hand, never saw so many machine guns by military personnel.
We stayed at the camino real. What a beautiful dome! But the hotel was out dated. In juarez, Food was good and walked to the cathedral and cabbed it back.
At night went out to the racetrack casino in el Paso , which was ok
but u r right, one night was enough for me. Although, I was impressed w the campus area of utep!
