Yep, just paid $3.07 a gal. for the good stuff. Damn, think yesterday was like $2.75. Man, can those gasoline refill trucks travel fast through hurricane devsatated areas.

$2.75 for premium yesterday? that must have been the some of the cheapest in the country!

Anyway, that is a lot for gas. I just feel fortunate that I work from home. Every day I am more convinced that the next car I buy will be a hybrid.

Maybe Al Gore can hook me up with a good "alternative fuel" vehicle.

Try to look on bright side and glad I don't live in CA or NY--you could almost arrange state gas taxes from highest to lowest in color codes--if you get my drift ;)

or brighter side yet feel fortunate Kerry and the Dems didn't get his 50 cent federal gas tax bill passed :)

Stations jumping price by 50 cents with or with out state taxes still wrong. And state taxes don't tell complete story. As some states give relief other places such as license plate renew. Or cheaper driver license or lower state tax. Some states in cold belt have no choice but to get all money they can to keep roads in shape. Real Cold weather ruins roads fast. And some states don't need snow removal ever.
