Two for tonight. Good luck.

Cleveland PK +240 over DETROIT 300/720

Hill will be back from injury tonight and Mihm may be back as well. Detroit has struggled without Rebraca to add scoring inside and those two should take advantage. Miller comes off a terrible game and last time that happened he exploded in the next game, a big win over San Antonio.

Washington PK +300 over CLIPPERS 300/900

Clippers return from a four game east coast trip in which they went 3-1 with only one day of rest, a great fade position. In addition, this is the first time all year the Clippers will have had one day of rest following a trip of at least two games. Washington has played close games against quality teams in recording four straight losses and the Clippers don't match up well defensively with Whitney or Hamilton. Clippers play the Lakers in two days so this is a big look ahead scenario as well.

3/13 NBA Notes:

-Nets continue to struggle coming off the close win over Toronto yesterday with just a four game lead in the division. Celtics are playing great ball but they looked suspect in both games against Washington.

-Denver has been pitiful on the road since the trade. Hawks have looked better offensively with Kukoc back and they played great defense last time out.

-Phoenix has completely gone to a half court style with mixed results. Suns won last time in the second half of a back to back. Orlando finally played a great game last time out after five stinkers in a row.

-Hill is probable to return for Cleveland and Mihm should be back as well. Miller comes off a poor game and last time he had an awful game he responded with a huge game in a win over San Antonio. Detroit has lost two straight and played soft in four straight.

-Philly plays a home game back to back after a road win, generally a good fade position. Kings continue to struggle offensively compared to January when they looked like the team to beat. Vlade especially.

-Wolves historically have owned Houston but the Rockets won last time they played. Wolves have lost four straight and looked bad doing it. Houston plays back to back and they have won 2 straight.

-Wizards have four close losses in four straight against playoff teams. Clips return from a 3-1 trip with one day of rest. Clips have Lakers next so they may look ahead, but they have done well in pre-Lakers games this season.

Nick,

Out of all the 'cappers here on the Mad Jack's Forum, you are truly the only one I monitor as your play seems to be sharp. However, I've noticed that your action is increasingly slanted towards what "other" people on the forum post. This has led me to believe you aren't a "wise" player and tend to put too much opinion into what "others" are playing.

My advice to you is to have faith in your numbers and play them as such!

Jeremy,

There was one occasion when I bought back half of a bet on Phoenix +10.5 at San Antonio because I was very surprised when I saw the line that high and then I saw several other smart handicappers thinking the same way and I had the opportunity to get San Antonio -9.5.

Other than that, I always wake up and go straight to my favorite handicapping sites, make my selections before looking at the lines, then I shop around for the best line and then I post what I bet. Only after I send my page update to Jack or post do I browse gsp, kcwolf, Roger, RAYMOND and anyone else I respect to see if others are on my plays and to wish them luck.

Thanks for the response Nick. I think my message yesterday was taken out of context by some of the readers here. I didn't intend any disrespect towards you. I guess as a fellow handicapper who admires your approach, I was a little confused as to why you hedged that play.

As I mentioned, I respect your opinion on this site and always look to see what you're playing after getting my plays in. Much like you, I tend to side with dogs in the NBA and I feel much stronger about my plays knowing you're on the same side.

Good luck!
