I was curious how many of you think landing 3 Big Ten teams in the BCS is a possibility? Knowing that $ drives the series........I have to think Wisky will be looking in...........Thoughts? Also, will we see another Co-National Championship this year......thats to say if Ohio St loses in the NC game............should be some interesresting debate in the following weeks!

Whoops I'm drunk and that came out the wrong way.........guess what I meant is will Wisky get no consideration for a BCS bid even though they have only 1 loss? Guess I will go drink some more Wisky!!!:mj07:

Nevermind......this came out wrong.........I guess what I meant was it would be tough to be a Wisky fan and have a near perfect season, and have to sit back and watch. Congrats to the BIG Ten as I would give them the nod as the best conference this season!

This is an example of how all the "who is the best conference" arguments are BS. OSU and Michigan are outstanding teams. Wiscy is tough to figure-played one good team and lost. But even if we assume they are very good, the other 8 teams are absolute crap.

Does that make it the best conference? In the 1980s was the Big 8 great because Neb and Ou were always on top and the other 6 sucked? Etc....

I think we can measure and compare greatness of teams...but conferences is a absurd notion....

Please take what I say this evening with a grain of salt.......its MY Opinion....that is all....and a drunk one at that!. I know there are people here that love their conferences and everyone can make an argument that their conference is the best. I have no allegiance to any one conference, but watch a lot of football. 3 teams that post a 34-2 record in the same conference is quite a feat. Wisconsin is a very good football team and Ohio ST/Michigan are arguably the best 2 teams in the country. Like I said, its one opinion that can/and will be trumped by many in the SEC. and BIG 12. NOTE: I'm from PAC 10 land, but can't think of too many years where I would rank that conference at the top......

*My opinion is based on playing DIV I football and while I can appreciate yours and others views on the subject............unless you have played a grueling 6 month schedule.....that starts with mini-camps in July until you hang up those pads in JAN......it takes a special team to accomplish an undefeated or 1 loss season. I gauge my opinion on the brand of football I watch week in and week out.........specifically D-fense first and I feel the BIG TEN has some of the best around. Although I enjoy watching Defenses like LSU, AUBURN, Oklahoma, etc.......

I see a lot of people on this board bashing a players/coach decision during a game, and quite frankly those bashers are best left to play with their X-boxs......because unless you've suited up against a 220 lb blue-chip LB coming at ya with a full head of steam and youv'e seen stars, you really don't have a clue:scared DO ya???
