YTD 25-25-3 -11.45 Units

Real strong card tonight so I am going to stray from my 1 play a night during the week. Going to play the Panthers with the new coach angle, it was a profitable venture last year. Going to play the Bruins over in back to back road games for the Oilers and their 5th in 7 nights on the road. As well, going to play the Bruins at home getting a tired Oilers squad and like it even more after tonights win at NYR.

Playing:

Bos.-.5(-153)(3 Units)
Flor - ML (+126)(2 Units)
Edm./Bos. o5.5(-107)(1 Unit)

GLTA!

Sens game is a stay away for me tonight. Only reason I am not playing it is because of their inconsistent play over the last 5 games. One thing that I liked from Sat. nights loss was their solid play in the 3rd period. They dominated the last 10 minutes but could not finish. Teams that are slumping at any point during the season that end a game that way usually carry it over to the next game. That being said I think the Sens present the Thrashers huge match-up problems. They collapse alot down low in defensive zone coverage and that will allow the Sens cycle game and skill to prevail. Sens forwards versus the Thrashers defense is a big mismatch. Sens will use a line to shut down the Kovalchuk line. Thrashers are very much a one line team so I think with the Sens depth at forward and the fact they roll 4 lines very well will be another big factor tonight. Hossa might be out for tonights game. Lalime will start tonight and I will post Thrashers starting goalie after morning skate. Slight lean to over the total as well. I want to take the Sens but I am going to wait for them to end the 5 winless streak. Once they win one I will hammer Ott hard the next game out. Hopefully it sets up for Thursdays night home game for the Sens.

After the morning skate no goalie was announced for the Thrashers and that is right from the media guys who were there. Denis Hamel was re-called for the Sens in case Hossa can't play. He is a gametime decision. His foot is swollen and is having a hard time getting his skate on after taking a slap shot off the foot against NJ. Nothing broken and no torn ligaments but swollen. I will post the Thrashers starting goalie once it has been confirmed by the Thrashers coaching staff.
