Like I said before, you can't ignore the trends DOGS THAT BARK posted in this forum. Check out his post when you get a chance. Here are three more things to remember about bowl games:
1. Must consider each quarterback's abilities. I will take a quarterback who can throw and run over a quarterback who can only run any day.
2. Strength of schedule/conference can't be ignored.
3. Speed kills! Better athletes at skill positions usually win game.
Now, if the team that has the edge in these three categories might overlook their opponent, then definitely take a good hard look at the dog. Cincy doesn't fit the bill tonight. The Bearcats have lost two straight bowl games and they should be hungry for a win, regardless of who the opponent is.
