Both Central Florida and Virginia Tech are following the same trend.
Both teams are coming off three consecutive Home Favorite NO COVERS.
Three opportunities to cover at Home in the role of a Favorite and both teams failed in all three chances? To me, this is a RED FLAG.
I know all about the trevails of SYR and BUFF, but I like my chances with these HD's.
I also like my chances with the COLO total under 55'.
I read a post where the total in these last four matchups has gone over 62. Reason and logic would dictate that an opening number 7 points under the past four outputs is an oversight on Vegas' part.
But Vegas' knew about those past four outputs LONG BEFORE any handicapper did.
That's why the total opened at 55.
Vegas WANTS the handicapper (grounded in reason and logic) to take the over.
IMO, it's a seduction.
