White Sox -1.5/+100 (KC)
--- Was at the game last night, and the Royals used up all the luck they are likely to get in this series. White Sox played flat and disinterested.
Haven't been impressed at all with Batista, and I think the White Sox will jump on him today.
Javy should enjoy his return to the AL, today.

I am also a Jayhawk. Grew up in Kansas, went to undergrad at KU and law school at KU. Even lived in Lawrence for a while after graduating doing the commute to KC.

If I didn't live in San Francisco Bay Area and I would live in Lawrence.

I disagree with your assessment of Batista. When Batista is healthy, he has some of the nastiest stuff in baseball. The problem is he's rarely healthy. I won't soon forget what he did to the Angels lineup in his first start last season. I would be at the game today, but I have a serious hangover and going to rest instead.
