Favre is the Pete Rose of Football...mostly longevity records but that's it....Favre is what you would call a "gun-slinger"..meaning he would throw into double coverage and sometimes it works, sometimes it didn't....I guess having a day for him makes sense but I never thought he treated GB very well...always deciding at the last minute whether he'd play or not the next season..what an ass...as far as stats his TD to interception ration is pretty even which to me, doesn't make a great QB......the one Superbowl he won wasn't because of him..in fact, he played poorly....can't forget the championship game he played against the Eagles one year where the game ended with him throwing a pass that resembled a punt...on first down in Overtime....just terrible..then the Saint championship game where he throws a late pick when all they needed was to kick a field goal...you can have him...very self centered guy IMO..good ole boy image is a bunch of BS....and letting Bruce Smith get a sack to set a record....what a joke...to me, he's of the same ilk as Jay Cutler...2nd tier QB with an ego...like to see Pack lose on his day...happy thanksgiving
