oh chit...i played yanks over:D

I actually capped as a pretty close game, but both pitchers getting beat up pretty well.

The Yanks regularly send Tanyon crying to mama, and there are some guys on the BlueJays that have hit Pettitte very well. And with Pettitte being on the road, I thought they woudl be good for about 5.

Since you passed, I can openly say I hope you are wrong!:D

Geno, don't pay too much attention to what an ump did last year. John Hirshbeck was a great home fav ump last year. I started to play NY and over tonight because of him and the crew. So far this year he has three dogs and now his first home fav. There was a reason tonight that I felt he would go over with the fav. Good luck tomorrow

I have tried to use umpires as handicapping tools, but I have noticed that umps are just so damn inconsistant that you cant do it. Umps will adjust to how a pitcher is pitching over the course of the game, so he may have a different strike zone everytime out.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT GUYS :)

Umpires are basically a tool I use to THROW OUT PLAYS or continue with,.... after other factors are considered.

Plays thrown out never cost me money in the loss column YES I may miss a winner and a profit but the season is long.

A wise man once told me the value of a loser not played is greater than a winner that is (most of the time although KC & the sunshine band is an example tonight where that isn't true.)

Bottom line when laying juice is what I am talking about !

YOU will watch me miss some winners this year due to being picky most of the time. Example would be the Seattle game a few days back when I said stay away at 9.5 & play only at over 9.

Then it went flying over !
