Hudson comes off two subpar starts and I have noticed that for good pitchers, down cycles usually last two starts. Burkett is a solid pitcher, but not spectacular and the A's should get to him. Losing Ramirez should start getting to Boston effective tonight.

Anderson is a guy who gets very few starts as the Diamondbacks use a four man rotation whenever possible. Today is the first game for the Pirates with their full lineup in several weeks so I expect the usual great pitching and defense to get them the victory.
