Arizona +130 over CUBS 300/390

Batista is a solid pitcher. He is probably not going to go seven or eight but he will give the D-Backs 5 or 6 strong innings. Wood has been struggling lately and for some reason the Chicago bullpen just has not been playing as well as they should. Chicago's bats are ice cold and even with BK not available, Arizona has the advantage in lineup and bullpen here.

Nick be careful betting against Wood today, asider from one bad inning in each of his last few games (excluding last game) he has looked real good. Now today with the wind blowing straight in his one or two mistake pitches will be routine fly ball outs. Batista will only give Arizona 4 or 5 innings and as you said they are without Kim which is a big loss. Don't like going against you and don't like laying -140 with the cubs cold bats but Arizona has not had the hottest bats either. Looking for a Cub shutout. Good luck either way

Cincinatti +165 over HOUSTON 300/495

Miller has not pitched well recently as it seems that hitters are finally recognizing his average stuff. Cincy has been a better hitting team on the road all year, and last year they hit great at Enron. The Reds' bullpen was used regularly recently but their pitchcounts were largely kept low so all the effective guys should be available.

Wiz,

Good luck to ya but as hot as the D-Backs' bats are I like them to get to Wood for at least a couple of runs. It does hurt to not have BK but their bullpen is really hot right now.

PHILADELPHIA -110 over St. Louis 330/300

Person is the far superior starter here. I don't think there is any question about that. The Phils also have the stronger bullpen. Even though Bottalico had an awful outing Gomes and Chormier are good and Mesa should still be available. The Phils are now going to be a risk until we see how they adjust long term without Lieberthal, but with this pitching matchup they have the advantage here.

These two are partially from IE's info but also from injury to B. Molina, Angels' bullpen, Cleveland's hot bats.

Cleveland -120 over ANAHEIM 360/300

Cleveland vs. ANAHEIM over 10 +100 300/300

Good luck. Check IE's writeup for more info.
