Decent night although the Mariners once again ruined a very good night. The stinking D'Rays seem to have there number. Rupe shut out Pineiro and the M's last week so I really liked going against him in the rematch last night but he came up with another gem. To anyone who does not check out KC Wolf, he is still on fire and if I were coat-tailing anyone is bases, it would be him. Unfortunately, he usually posts too late for me to compare picks before I make my plays.

Back later with today's selections?

5/29 MLB Lightning Strikes

***ALL PITCHERS LISTED***

NL
Dodgers ?175 ? 2* ... More chalk on the Dodgers today but they are a good team at home playing well with a pitcher (Perez) going who has been outstanding except for his last outing against a bad Brewers team.

Pirates/Cubs under 8 ? 2* ... Lieber and Wells are too pretty good pitchers although Leiber has struggled a bit lately, I still think this one ends up about 4-2.

Marlins ?140 ? 2* ... I like young Josh Beckett to outpitch aging Joey Hamilton at home here with too pretty equal teams.

Astros/Cardinals over 9 ? 2* ... Bankruptcy Field is a good hitter park and we have Garrett Stephenson (a very average pitcher IMO) and Wade Miller making his first start off thsi DL.

Rockies ?110 ? 2* ... Stark has been great while Tollberg has struggled all year. Rockies also playing better ball.

D?Backs ?140 ? 2* ... I'll take Schilling at a reasonable price anytime the way he is pitching. D'Backs also the better hitting team IMO although Giants are at home.

Giants/D?Backs under 7.5 ? 2* ... Schilling/Ortiz at a pitchers park ... that's enough for me.

AL
Orioles/A?s under 9.5 ? 2*

Indians/Tigers under 9 ? 2* ... these are not the hammering Indians of the past few years. These guys cannot hit and the Tigers are weak to begin with. Lately, playing the under in every Indians game is profitable.

Royals/Angels under 9 ? 2* ... Affeldt looks like a good solid young pitcher and Ramon Ortiz has been solid all year so I'll take a shot. Only thing that worries me is the Royals have really been hitting well lately.

Good Luck!

Adding

Adding

Marlins -140 ... 1* ... additional unit

Expos +120 ... 2* ... with the Braves banged up, I'll take a shot with a decent underrated pitcher in Ohka

Mets -130 ... 2* ... Phillies won on the road yesterday ... I doubt they can do it two days in a row against a decent Mets club

Good Luck!
