Riding with you today Axle.

A couple questions for you when you get time, do you ever play exotics?

Also, do you see this as something that can be beat, or is it more of a hobby? How long do you spend each day capping, and what material do you use, track programs/DRF, etc.

Where do you do most of your wagering? Online/at track?

Do you have a system of any sort? For instance a buddy of mine has a good one, walks in with $300, plays until it is all gone, then walks up and cashes his winners and leaves. DO you just go make all your bets and then leave or how do you do it?

Thanks for the help!!

Yes I play exotics. I have become a big fan of Pick 3's and Pick 4's, but I rarely post them. I do post a pick 6 now and then.

I think the ponies can be beat, but Money Management is paramount, with out it, you'll be out of the game real fast. At this point in time I probably spend about an hour a day handicapping, on weekends more, up to several hours. I usually buy the 3 track daily package at DRF.COM. I use the Formulator 4 from DRF. This is a hobby for me, I don't think even after 27 years of playing I have the mental balls to try to do this for a living, I couldn't handle the stress.

I wager about 85% of the time online. About another 10% at OTB, 5% at the track live.

After all these years of playing and reading about 20 books on handicapping, I don't really have a system, although I do know a lot of angles...the thing about systems and angles, they don't work across the board for every type of race or every track. So you have to have a lot of them in your holster and pull one out when you need one.

I bet mostly online because I can do it from work. I have a personal laptop with a wireless card, so I get on when I have time, and certainly on my breaks and/or lunch time. The only time I usually make bets and leave are if I am playing a pick 6 and have some other engagement I have to attend.

This is a fun game, I try to keep my bets small so I won't get hurt when they don't come in, then on the other hand, when you hit a good one, it will carry you for a long, long time....:)

Good Luck with the game....

Thanks a TON for the help! Maybe I brought you some good luck today, great capping!!!

:00hour

This will be a hobby for me too, but with the combo of difficulty getting money online along with being so tired of watching these overpaid morons in sports, it is going to be my new gambling hobby/focus for a while.

Thanks!

I don't know if you have read any of my previous posts regarding this, but I play the ponies only on YouBet.com...They are legal in the U.S.

When I make a deposit, I choose to use like a bank debit...they have the other ways, Credit Cards, Check, Western Union, etc., but for me it is just simple to use the Bank Debit opiton. I have an account just for my gambling, so that is the one I allow to go over the net.

Works for me...

Yeah, I think you may have brought me some luck, it was a pretty good day....
