I usually don't play parlays, but I figured at 10-1 odds, WTF. St. Louie should be able to put runs up on Maholm, especially after getting shutout yesterday. Matusz is Balty's best pitcher and Blackburn isn't a gem by any means. And Hochevar is KC's 2nd best pitcher and the Royals are trying to avoid the sweep, so I expect a good effort from them.

Probably won't hit, but at those odds I figured I would give it a shot.

I know it's early, but I'm chalking this one up as an L. Balty isn't winning today. I guess I should have known better than to bet them -- a win today would have meant they took 3 out of 4 from the Twins in Minny. I think the earth would spin off its axis if that ever happened.
