Quick Notes are gonna be fractured into afternoon and evening games today. Got a late jump on things after watching too much soccer. Good luck.
-Ashby was sharp against Arizona last time out, but again, pitchers have shown a propensity for getting hit the second time around when facing the same team in consecutive starts. Anderson is still winless and extremely unreliable. I look for Gagne to start coming back down to earth for the Dodgers as he showed weakness in the Brewers' series.
-Oswalt is one of the best but in his last couple of starts he has gotten hit a bit and the Cubs bats are showing life. Prior has been a force and you would think Houston's struggling lineup would have problems facing him. Bullpens for both teams have been better than they were earlier this year.
