Well, the Pirates have killed me the past 2 days costing me -12.90 units. That is what you get when wagering juice on an average to poor team I guess although, who would have thought Jamey Wright would shut them out 2 days ago. My hometown stinking Phillies and the underachieving Mets also killed me the past 2 days as their offenses decided to come to life and I played both unders. Today, I like the over but I am not going to play it as I know it will go under by a half run if I do. Thank god the A's came back last night or this week would really be ugly, not that it isn't already. Guess I was trying to load up and play some big units after a few days off cause I am going to Cancun next Wednesday and will be away for a week. Thought maybe I could hammer some games I really liked and have some extra cash along for the trip. So far, I have lost approx. $850 the past two days. Not good! Greed kills in gambling most times.
Today's thoughts:
NL
I like Pitt again today laying juice with Fogg on the hill but I am gunshy to play them to avoid the steak cause the Brew Crew is pounding the ball in this series and Sheets is always capable of pitching a great game. I think the Expos have some nice value but are the Braves still too hot to go against with their ACE on the hill. I like St. Louis again today as Lawrence hasn't been as effective as he was early in the season and the Cards are the class of the division. I like the Rockies today with Jennings going at home but they are playing like crap lately and the Giants are the better team although even though I think fat-ass Hernandez sucks. The Dodgers Ashby is pitching much better than Batista and may be a solid play at even money.
AL
Red Sox/Blue Jays under is tempting as Halladay is pitching pretty well and Burkett is not bad either. The White Sox/Tigers over also tempting with Tigers pitcher Brian Mohller making his first start of the year off an injury. I also like the Rangers even though they are laying too much juice as I think they should beat up on the D'Rays at home but the Rangers are a bunch of underachieving overpaid hippies. The Twins have given Oakland all they can handle in this series and Santana is good enough to take a shot at with live dog value. Saw some on here playing the Twins +1.5 runs. Might be a good idea as the first two games were tight one run affairs.
Back with todays actual plays soon...
