The Boston Bruins have signed center Chris Paradise to a two-year contract, it was announced today by Bruins General Manager Mike O'Connell. In keeping with club policy, terms of the contract were not announced.

Paradise, who turns 25 today, comes to the Bruins after playing four seasons of college hockey at the University of Denver where he collected 48-58=106 totals with 167 penalty minutes in 150 career games. The 6'2", 200 lb. forward was teammates the past three seasons with Bruins prospect Greg Barber (Boston's 7th pick, 207th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft). Paradise led the Pioneers this past season in both goals (22) and game-winning goals (seven) while helping his team to both the WCHA
regular-season and playoff titles, collecting 22-19=41 totals with 40 penalty minutes in 40 games. The forward led the team in scoring in the WCHA Tournament, recording 5-2=7 totals in four games, earning him a spot on the WCHA Final Five All-Tournament team.
