Got a lotta plays today. Here they are. Also, check out my page for a review of Sportsinteraction for any of you looking for a new book to use.

Baltimore +215 over OAKLAND 500/1075

Basically this is a play on Baltimore's pitching advantage. Maduro has wicked stuff when he is on and he is coming off his best start of his career. Lidle is extremely inconsistent. Everyone knows about the problems in the A's bullpen and with Giambi likely to sit after injuring his hammy last night, this is a great spot for Baltimore.

BOSTON +115 over Cleveland 500/575

Okay, I'll bite. The Sox stink but you have Woodard coming off getting torn up by Chicago, the Tribe hitting .200 vs. lefties in their last ten games and the Sox offense coming off a 14 hit performance. Gotta play that.

CINCINNATI +120 over Houston 500/600

Mlicki is a very weak link for Houston while Reitsma has been smoking. Houston's lineup finally had a good game yesterday but overall they have been poor over the last two weeks. Sullivan and Graves are both rested for Cincy so they have a big time pitching advantage and the hotter lineup here.

Milwaukee +102 over PITTSBURGH 500/510

Wright has been phenomenal lately, including shutting down Chicago and Houston in two of his last three starts. Ritchie has been woefully inconsistent. I would list all the pitchers out of the Pirates pen who are overworked but they basically all are. Milwaukee has the better hitters, too.

Kansas City +140 over ANAHEIM 500/700

Durbin is the real deal. Valdes is really bad. Actually, Valdes is decent, but he is leaving the ball up and getting pounded lately. KC is 5-2 since Sweeney came back and their bullpen is on fire lately, with Grimsley and Hernandez especially pitching lights out. The middle relief for Anaheim has broken down and that puts them in major trouble tonight.

I am with you on some of these......TODAY is the day of the DOG!!!!

Baltimore vs. Oakland. With the exception of Giambi and Chavez, who is hitting for Oakland? Maduro has been on. I like the UNDER and Baltimore in a parlay IF you can get the UNDER at 9 or more. I got it at 9 -120 and am not sure I am going to touch it. Think there is a MODERATE correlation with Baltimore and the under because I don't see them scoring more than 5 and Maduro MUST pitch well for them to win.

BOSOX +110 vs. Cleveland. Take the Sox. The curse has run its course. Time for them to win. Woodward is flat out aweful.

CINCINATI +115 vs. Houston. Milicki will not do well. Reistma probably will. Houston's offense is still not hitting except for yesterday's texas leaguers and bloopers.

ROYALS +133 vs. Angels. Like the Royals chances here as they seem to have the Angels number. Young hitters are hot and Valdes throws meat when he is off. Durbin should pitch well today and hopefully the Angels will hit like yesterday.

MY PLAYS

Baltimore +210
Baltimore +210/Under 9
Royals +133
Boston +110
Cincinati +115

My lines aren't as good as Nick's but I really like these plays. I am in med school and only bet $10 and don't have time to figure out the units but I was up $60 yesterday.

Need you guys to help me buy my books

If i could add a couple of comments;

BOS/CLE
I agree with you on the Boston game. I believe Nick brought up the point in a post yesterday that Cleveland stinks when facing lefties. I believe they are batting about .196. Take Boston for this reason. Don't put much faith in the fact that Boston has to win sometime. That team is in complete disarray right now. They are going nowhere but down. Cleveland will only lose because they suck against left handed pitching. If your going to play Boston the rest of the year, make sure there is a stand-out reason as to why.

BAL/OAK
I really thought about playing Baltimore for all the reasons stated above. I played Oakland. When a team like Oakland is 9-1 in it's last 10, and is playing a team like Baltimore that is 1-9 in it's last ten, and Oakland is playing at home, I will tend to play the hot team despite past preformances. When good teams get on a roll, and they are playing for a post season appearance, they can be tough. Just my opinion.

KC/ANAHIEM

Nick your right. Valdes is bad. Has been the last 4 times out. ERA has jumped from 3.61 to 4.09 in a month. Tired arm??? KC should handle him easily.
