Phoenix Suns - team total Over 27? for the 1st quarter

The Lakers slowed the pace of the game early and often and the under cashed in each of the first four games while the Suns searched for their offensive rhythm. Despite Phoenix's percieved scoring problems they were able to average 29 1st quarter points in their series against the Lakers. In four games against the Clips, they scored no less than 30 points in each of the first quarters.

The popular pick is the Clippers tonight. The smart pick is the Suns. Losing game four, in the way that they did to the Lakers, really did well to wake up the Suns. They got back to playing their brand of basketball, averaging 120 points in the final three games. Raja Bell showed toughness that many people said the Suns lacked as a finesse team and in his abscence Leandro Barbosa proved he could be a reliable option off the bench for a team that relies on its starters almost as much as the Pistons.

While the Clippers have confidence coming in after a week of rest and a sound beating of the Nuggets (sorry Hippo), the Suns are playing as well as any TEAM in the playoffs right now. They are a great home team (34-11) this season and 3-1 in the playoffs.

Thanks Wonder - you are more than kind because my capping has fallen off in the playoffs... but still managing to make money somehow through hedging all my bad plays with halftime bets - suns were a nice moneymaker last night - I took your Suns Over points for the first quarter, total Over points for the first quarter, Over for the game, Suns -6 second half, and Suns -5 for the game

so managed to hedge the heat debacle last night
