I like the over 195 in the LAL/Sea game tonight.

-I think Phil learnt something on Tuesday night when he asked for a "team" offensive effort and held Kobe during that 1H against the Wiz. (At least that "gameplan" went out the window during 2H Tuesday!)

-I see Kobe with a "greenlight" to create or score as he sees fit tonight. This Shaqless LAL team cannot afford to go down big 1H on the road. The Sonics play a fast enough paced game that they will make a similar 2H comeback very difficult for the visting LAL.

-This LAL team will run from the opening tip to avoid another big 1H deficit......because we all know that the Sonics will run-n-gun (unlike the slow, methodical Wiz like play on Tuesday night).

-I see a fast paced game tonight and a game total exceeding the 195 asking price of admission!

Hoping the 3 balls fall.....

Also like'n the over in the Det/NJ game at 188. Will try to make it back later with write-up for this play but don't have time at the moment.

1-0...LN

Knicks -4' W<---Still can't believe that 21 pt. lead those lazy Knicks tried to blow. All those Knick turnovers during the 4th period were simply ludicrous!! What a bunch of jokers!

Thanks for the props G_N

Often I feel that posting one's record in this forum is resented by people.....it's a difficult call as to whether to keep doing it???

I really don't know how much a record adds to the post......but I do sense some resentment.

Heck, I'm no smarter than anyone else in here....and the only reason to post numbers is to validate the amount of work one puts into capp'n NBA games.

However, I suspect it is often interpeted as "chest beating" or being "braggadocious".

Anyway......I promised a write-up on the Det/NJ over 188 earlier this morning.

Here's my thoughts on why the over.......

-Det stunk it up in their crib on Tuesday night against Pho by getting the "dog do-do" kicked out of them 99-71!!

-The Det starters scored 2, 7, 4, 2 & 10. WOW

-The Det BENCH did better than that with 10, 9, 9, 6, 2, 5 & 5.

-However, in the prior 8 games to that 71 pt. Suns folly....Det scored:

105
86
115
83
88
89
107
104
*a 97 pt/gm average (excluding the Suns game)

-In their last 8 the Nets have scored:

103
100
117
98
125
77 <---That early Sat. morning embarrassment @ Mia
103
92
*a 92.5 pt/gm average (excluding the Heat game)

-The Nets are averaging 97/gm and the Pistons are scoring 93.7/gm so far this season. Well above tonight's ask'n price of 188.....and right in line with the averages over the last 8 (excluding the Suns & Heat games).

-Hopefully, Martin avoids early foul troubles (which he seem hard pressed to avoid) and Kidd doesn't pass the ball like a "maniac". Then, I feel the Nets will get their tally in tonight.

-Some of Kidd's passes on Tuesday were very suspect.....like flipping the ball over his shoulder to Martin and out-a-bounds!!!! Guess he thought he was still play'n in the All-Star Game??? LOL

-Sometimes a line just jumps at ya when ya see it......and the line at 188 this morning hit me as being just a tad too low.

GLTA MadJackers tonight!

I hope records don't start taking the fun outa post'n in the forum........this is supposed to be fun.....isn't it? ez

ez,

my take on posting records is strictly a benchmark for anyone who wants to know how well someone has done. especially for someone who may be new to ths site. if i'm leaning or on the fence about a play, and someone with a respectable record supports or opposes my lean, it helps. this site has alot to offer, and there's certainly no resentment for the work you and others have done. documentation doesn't lie. good luck to you.
