Arizona State (-4) at Arizona

I think this is a nice opportunity for a middle opportunity, b/c the line by that time might be closer to 10. ASU has had revenge on their mind since they got embarrased at Sun Devil last year by U of A. You might remember the fight that broke out after the game. To prove this fact Shaun McDonald said after the Oregon game this past weekend, that "The Oregon win ALMOST means as much as beating U of A. That was after beating the 6th best team in the country at their place. They are going to be MORE THAN READY to pound the Wildcats this year. Normally its a a pretty even game, but this year, the Sun Devils have too much talent for U of A, who is just reeling. I think the bet itself at -4 is an excellent bet, but definitely a middle possibility I figured you guys would like to know.

Yeah, Arizona is reeling. . . nevermind the fact this game is weeks away and Arizona should have most of their talent back and ready for that particular game. If you think ASU will be favored by 10 by that time, you have absolutely lost it buddy! No chance the line moves THAT extreme for a rivalry game like this one.

Remember, this is still a rivalry game and Arizona has "upset" ASU in the past when the Devils had the better season up to that point.

Just an opposing viewpoint. . . yes, ASU beat Oregon who was ranked sixth in the country by the media (which means absolutely nothing to me IMO, but maybe to others), but lets not fly off the handle after a single game. The Sun Devils have a long way to go with the Pac 10 season.

I do have to admit though. . . I was VERY impressed with the Devils and their poise when down by 21 at Oregon and found a way back in the game, then took it away from the Ducks. Oregon is still a good team, but lets see how they finish out their season as well.

Maybe not 10 points, but definitely at least 7. It was -7 last year and ASU was 4-6 and 1-5 against PAC 10 teams!!! You are telling me if ASU is lets say 16th in the nation, and the Wildcats win lets say 1 game in the PAC 10 (a stretch) the line is going to be only 7? Plus the revenge factor and just the greater overall talent? A perfect example is N.C. State vs. N.C. at Chapel Hill. The line was -7 for N.C. State and I jumped all over it. They won by 17. ASU is going to be waiting for that game, AND there is a slight chance that it could mean the ROSE BOWL. The more and more I talk about it the more and more I convince myself...

ASU already up to -7. I think it will be up to 10 by game time. I wouldnt recommend playing it now, b/c it is a key number, but it had a lot of value at -4 last week. Its hard to middle a game at -7 and -10 anyway...
