i didn`t expect it...but it`s not hard to understand....

to put it in gambling terms,it`s akin to a busted flush....to f-ck it up you have to overplay your hand...and the dems overplayed their cards....

ramming stuff through...saying f.u. to independents...the resulting loss is crushing...

"but i had such a pretty hand."....fail....

it`s better for the country...now the dems have to include everybody...not just their patrons(g.m./unions/etc).....

this is much like when hilary care failed early in clinton`s administration...he moved to the center and had a successful presidency....

something tells me obama won`t do that....i think he doubles down....and i don`t think that`s smart...

new jersey,virginia...and now this in massachsetts....

sea change...

move to the center barack...be the uniter you said you`d be...

What has he rammed thru?

He has been a centrist.

Bush just rammed shit thru, the dems have been pussys about getting shit done.

The watered down health care bill is one example.

But, please tell me what Obama has rammed down out throats?

If anything he has not done enough or been to the left enough.

I am not crying douchebag.

It really does not matter to me.

If the repubs regain power they will just completely fuck up like last time.

I was just asking what Obama has rammed through.

Are you ever going to show some sack and take Chadman up on his wager? Or are you going to be your normal giant pussy self and hide?

unions exempt from the healthcare tax(while the rest pay 40%)?..a f-cking kickback....shutting out republicans from the debate(there was no debate)....

i`m sure folks in mass were thinking," we're still unemployed and losing our homes while the democrats bail out the rich and cut deals with their bunkies... obama lied....this country`s more plolarized than ever"...that`s the republican`s game...

no...it`s whoever has unchecked power`s game...

look where this happened...when some of us talk about " the peoples republic of cambridge", we aren`t talking about tea baggers, or people that deny global warming.....it`s a liberal state 3-1...

apparently, massachusetts is full of fed up people....really smart people....

electing brown by 7 points or so has nothing to do with fox news or white supremicists/survivalists in idaho........

this is a sign that smart people here realize that their state, and maybe the nation too, needs a little balance....

i`m not gloating...i`m trying to give a perspective...calm down,dems...brown isn`t a wild eyed right wing radical....if he had been like that, mass. would not have elected him....

so, weasel lifts a toast to the people in massachusetts... they came out to vote in the rain and the snow, in record numbers....

if obama plays his cards right, this can help him...

Shawn,

He tried to ram through a 2300 page health care reform bill that nobody, including him, knows what's in it. Nobody understands it. How could we? My God.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are fucking disgraces, as i've said many times, and Barry has lost almost all of his politcal capital in one year because of those two.

In 2010, the Republicans will gain some seats, but the democrats will still have the majority in both branches. There will definitely be a paradigm change, though.

The fact that the Democrats could somehow screw this election up is very telling.

As far as comparing this to the Hillary health care disaster that weasie mentions? It's somewhat comparable, but the Dems had this one in the bag and totally fucked it up, whereas the Hillary thing never really got off the ground.

And this is totally fine with me that Brown won.

Slow it down with this wide-sweeping health care legislation. Don't ram it up our ass.

I agree the health care bill is a mistake, he was way to eager to just get something passed then get the right thing passed.

The dems just screwed up having power like the repubs before them.

I think the Mass race is more a case of the dems running someone who is a moron. Scott Brown does not belong either but he won and he will be a screw up. The dems just thought they would win no matter what.

I agree about Reid and Pelosi, most of the people who represent this country are a disgrace.

Its also about the people not liking who is in charge no matter who it is.

Shit was in really bad shape when obama took office due to the bush debacle, and I think obama has some decent ideas but shit gets watered down as soon you get into office. And people are desperate and expect instant results.

No matter who is in charge not much will change.

But at least hedge probably has his first stiffy since he pictured Rush's man titties over this mass race.

I agree.People don't have the fruit of the spirit.
They want instant results.Basically they dont know what they want. There desperate for a tweak while ignoring the result.

Markets rebounding.Economy is recovering but not fast enough for most although the hole has been deep since 07.

People want sudden change. They have no patience .If people think Scott Brown will make a huge difference on capital hill there sadly mistaken. And don't give me he will derail the healthcare bill there is no guarantee that it will ultimately pass regardless of Scott Brown.

He is going to be a disgrace.

Yeah I do not understand why they think that him being there makes this huge difference.

I did not think the bill was going to pass anyway the difference between the house and senate bill was too great.

However, what I do not understand is if Bush was able to ram everything he wanted to get through with less of an advantage numbers wise that Obama has what will stop Obama from passing stuff??

I do not expect to Obama to use the politics of fear like Bush did and to sneak shit in the middle of the night like Bush did. But, Obama will be able to pass shit, maybe finally the dems will actually have some balls about shit and Pelosi and Reid will actually accomplish something.

Yeah he is going to be a disgrace and be an one term senator.

Everyone can throw out the marxist socialist attacks and it just shows they have no idea of what they are talking.

I checked out Drudge and up top it asks AND NOW WILL HE RUN FOR PRESIDENT?

Wait is he actually talking about Brown?

This is the best the repubs have for 2012?

They already lump him in as a front runner for nomination?

Thats what is crazy. Who does the GOP have to beat Obama? I don't think its going to happen.

The health bill is not nearly what I want it to be. They are trying to get the GOP to come along with it. Fuck them. Get a nice liberal bill in there and pass it. Ohh wait. Obama is a conservative. We just have racists too fucking blinded by racism to see it.
