A Question about obvious line error

Well, I'm kind of new to offshore gambling and have this question that has been stuck in my mind for a while. For example, 1 day there's an obvious line error (say NFL, the line for PIT vs IND high/low is 0.5) What happen if I bet on the over? or someone's so stupid or accidentally bet on the under. Will both of them get the refund? Or the sportbook will cancel the one that bets on over 0.5 but count the one that bets on under 0.5 as lost?

Usually they will cancel/refund all irroneous bets made.

point out the error to the sportsbook, they made reward you with a top up on your account for pointing it out, but thats their progrative.

numerous and constantly betting into obivous(sp) clerk or software lines errors will get you blacklisted...

not sure i understand your above example pertaining to 0.5, and maybe why lack of response.

buy up one point and bet the under 1.5. then buy down a half point and bet the over zero. then middle that sucker when it lands on 1.

I would buy up 2 points and get a 2 point middle if just safety is scored

Sportsbooks have 'palpable error' inclusions within their general rules that protect them from obvious error discrepancies. Usually, a market is voided (settled) all in the same action. In other words.....each bet isn't settled separately.....every bet bet is settled or voided at the same time regardless of which side bets are on. If they 'void' a market, all bets are voided. If a score is entered, all bets on that market are settled.
