I have been a fan of this show since ints inception..
My question is this..
Alot of the humor sometimes can be regonial..
For example Seth Mc Farlane is from a stix town in CT and attented RISD (Rhode Island School of Design)
Hence, the family Griffin being from Quahog RI.
I own the DVDS and watch sometimes just to get a chuckle..
but does anyone outside of New England understand Jacks Joke Shop exit 14 on 295
or an incident at a South Attleboro Dennys
or even worse the LEAVERS from New York coming north to view our foliage
and Unless you have been in the hell that is the 'bucket how can you truely laugh at Pawtucket Petes beer.
Granted alot of the humor is wide spread but he certainly takes some shots at the ridiculousness of being from what we have such a misconception of being the center of the entire vast universe...
and a Gigidy Gigidy to you all
Freakin Sweet....

The widespread humor is the part that most people like about the show. There are a lot of things on that show that have a different effect on different people. Some people will catch the humor about northeastern situations while others will catch the puns or parodies of old tv shows and movies. For example, on a recent episode, Brian did a bit with the peanut butter jelly time dance. A person would have to know the internet to have caught that one. The same kind of locational humor can be seen in the show "King of the HIll."

Family Guy is a hiliarious show and I'm glad it made a comeback. I've gotten quite a few of my friends hooked on the show. :)
