Johnnies have played at home or in the Garden.One rd game and that was at Duke.Hill there best player probaly won't play.Many feel the Johnnies play better w/o "showtime" but he is there leading scorer,top assits man and quicker then lightning.Lawrence his partner is really solid even though he doesn't score a lot.he's avg's 5 apg's.Hamilton inside is tough but must stay out of foul trouble.Mason,Spears and Gray all have size but aren't scorers.Jackson will replace Hill tonite but he can't shoot.He's 3-21 from the 3.Lawr is 11-44 and Mason 13-41.At some pt doesn't the coach say"lets not take the 3 anymore fella's"Hopefully not tonite.
Hall has won 5 of last 6.Beat Iona the other nite.Copeland has been the main scorer.Whitney we think has awoken from his coma and scoring inside.Gaines has played great and there best defensive player.Nutter is the other gd who is avg. Orr has a little depth but other then Copeland his guys can't shoot the 3 either. 14-41,6-23,3-14, and 4-20.Pretty bad.
Johnnies play tough defense and will press.But I think Whitney inside is the difference.esp if Hamilton gets 2 quick fouls.
Close game.Hall at home wins this by 5-10 pts.Johnnies have played to many cupcakes at home.
