Would you guys agree that Eddie Lacy would probably be out of the NFL if the Packers didn't have a high pick on him? I mean he is lucky he plays for the Packers and only sees a 6 man box. The guy is still too slow for the NFL in my opinion.

Aaron Rodgers is no Brett Favre, can we agree on this? it's still a debate up here, but when Rodgers broke into the league the defenses were really poor especially those in the NFC North, Also look at the offenses those teams had. The Packers had many layups with wide receivers running around 5 YARDS OPEN. He had it easy, almost TOO easy. I remember games when the Pack were up 20 points in 4th quarter and Mr. Stat Padder would throw in another score. Now the defenses are catching up and he looks a little bit lost or teams have figured him out. No more soft zone and allowing him easy completions. Rodgers would have shit his pants against the Cowboy teams Favre played.

Green Bay is going to win a lot of games though, they have an improving defense and the offense will get it going but the love for them being NFC Favorites is absurd, the season is early but they are having the same problems as last year and that is with Jordy back.

the reason they won is because the defense created turnovers and bradford was sharp when he had time,

Packers are going to.play Lacey cause they don't have much else, they ignore the position really and it works for them. but Rodgers hasn't been himself in a while and that's because he's playing against teams.who have defenses now and previously they didn't

Lacy is beyond done. He is WAY too slow. A back with any speed at all would have taken a few runs all the way to the house. HUGE holes were being opened at times. He has no speed and I want him gone.

Starks is hardly faster. The Packers need some speed back there. I heard that they brought in Spiller for a look. Anything would be better than Lacy. He is WAY overrated.

That said, I hate it when they put Cobb back there. He is going to get the shit kicked out of him.

Sorry I like lacey he's not close to done that's silly. He' had 12 carries against Vikings for 50 yards. He is the type of back that needs at least 20 tou ches a game. If this happens you will see a much different offense. Rogers will be a beneficiary of this also.

You're right Aaron Rodgers is better than Brett Favre. Green Bay will be in the super bowl. The slow start is simply based on getting used to new tight end and Jordy getting back up to speed. By week 6 they will be averaging 35 pts a game and winning handily.

I think you have a lot of denial. they will probably lay 35 on the Colts and bears and such but they wont be laying that on the Good teams, their offense took a.step back last year and their is no proof it's going to get back to where it was a few years ago

yep they are. Packers are going to have a very good record this year, that's predicated on schedule. Hell they could gel and win the Super Bowl. I just think Lacey Sucks and the people who say Rodgers is better than what Favre was are nuts.

Your wrong on that his gut is gone and if you watched him in preseason much quicker and more explosive. He wears a protective vest under his uniform which makes him appear heavier. The p90x workout he did twice this off season will pay off. That's something I know alot about. He will be used alot put that one in the bank so when he explodes this season don't be shocked.

I watched all of his preseason, he still looked slow.to me.and the only time he was.able to run is.whe there is a big gaping hole. it's only 2 weeks in and it can turn around but for the last 14-18 games he's been marginal to below averages

The loss of sitton had affected the chemistry of the offensive line. A former offensive lineman I heard today say this is a huge deal. I also know lacey when asked about lane taylor danced around his answer like a,politician to protect his teamate and his lack of confidence in him. So its going to take a little time for the line to jell. This struggling early in the season is the norm under mccarthy. Last year was 1st time they got off to fast start and guess what it was the offensive line was set. Than you had injuries hit the line and it was downhill after game 6.
