If these past few weeks have shown us anything, it's that Aaron Rodgers is the no doubt MVP every year....

Regarding true "value", I do not think any player matters more for their team

This green bay team is atrocious....how he gets them to 11+ wins on a yearly basis is remarkable in itself....

With Rodgers healthy, the pack would have been around -7 I'm guessing....the fact that they were catching 3 points at home...to the sub .500 Baltimore Ravens....tells you what vegas thinks of this team without him....

I've had different people argue that "no single player" is worth a 3 point swing....this should no longer be a debate
...Rodgers/brady/brees/ben....these guys are all hugely MVP candidates yearly, none more so than Rodgers...

Why NFL teams will not spend more time/money to make sure that they have at least a Brian Hoyer or Josh Mcnown sitting in the back up role is beyond me.....

Colts
Packers
Steelers

I'd say with the mobility each of their starters play with, they are doing a big disservice to their team and fans by not having a quality backup ready

Josh Mcnown
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Derek Anderson
Brian Hoyer

There has to be atleast a few of these guys each off season available....sign em for 4 years and be done with it

And no..
I did not bet the Packers.....just tired of this shit product every week

Nathan Peterman for Bills today..

5 Int's in the FIRST HALF

first season out of Pittsburg U and hadn't seen a live snap prior to last week..

one of the reason I believe these guys take so long to become capable backups if at all is that the starters pass along nothing to them in the learning process.

They offer nothing to someone who might take their job..

Brett Favre comes to mind...and from the play of Brett Hundley I would say Aaron
treated Hundley the same.

Case Keenum is going to get a serious raise next year. All-time NCAA passing record holder has transferred his game to a top notch game manager. 2 million 1 year contract, free agent next year.

he is getting there..

complete game today..

certainly not the case vs Redskins with 2 Int's in the 2nd half ..

hopefully he takes us to the Super Bowl Championship.

unlike several other Clark Kent's who dropped in with their capes and glasses.

Only if he drives the tour bus.

if that is how we enter the stadium to play that day so be it..

next 3 straight road games will be the tale of the tape.

at Det
at Atl
at Carolina

to much Defense and overall talent for Cinc. GB and Chic.

can they go to Philly or OTR elsewhere late Jan. if necessary and win...

Viking fans have been saying yes home or away..

...I have learned to just wait and see..

Keenum I dont think is a long term starter ...at least yet...he can continue to develop and get there....

But regardless....he has a long career, if as nothing else, a highly capable backup ....which is a position that eventually teams will have to start paying more money and putting more effort into

Old school....lol yes Peterman was a disaster....how they could be in a playoff race and encounter any situation in which the staff truly determined he was a better option is hard to imagine

Must be more to the Tyrod saga....they could not think Peterman gave them a better chance to win and also be sane....in this instance I would say the two are indeed mutually exclusive

Man is quarterbacking atrocious this year for a large part

from listening to Rodney Harrison today and reading throughout the week Tyrod will not be there next year.

His inability to get the ball to the wideouts and his locking in on running backs and tight ends from the snap of the ball are a big part of the problem.

It was further stated that review of the tape shows that the wins and scores were more a result of turnovers by the defense than good drives by the offense led by Taylor.

Now what the coach wasn't prepared for was ..........the kid imploding

  • Jason La Canfora reports that the Bills considered benching QB Tyrod Taylor for weeks and it was born of several factors.
  • According to La Canfora, the Bills believe the offense was not going to evolve with Taylor, given his limitations in terms of reading the field and making plays within the confines of the pocket.
  • Beyond that, La Canfora says Taylor?s unwillingness to throw into tight windows or throw receivers open and a tendency to start halves slowly also factored into the decision to start Nathan Peterman.
  • Sources have told La Canfora that the Bills? coaching staff and front office still think highly of Taylor and love his attitude and work ethic, but they felt they needed to make this change now.
