?Since 1990, when the bye week was incorporated into the NFL schedule, the Giants have not had an easy time returning to work. They are 3-10 and have lost those 10 by a total of 57 points ? or less than a touchdown per game. Last year they came off their by to lose to Dallas, 20-13. Their three victories after the bye came against Washington (twice) and Philadelphia. They beat the Eagles, 24-7, in 2000, the year they advanced to Super Bowl XXXV. Their Monday Night record isn't much better ? they are 15-26-1 overall, 9-19-1 on the road and 1-5 with Fassel in place as head coach.
