I just watched the movie "The Cooler". There was a segment where the management caught the Cooler's kid & wife cheating throwing dice. During their big run, they showed the casino manager sorta looking through the thrower's hand like an X ray or something with has bare eyes and was seeing something with the dice....and that is how they caught him.
I've never diced at a casino (did so in the alleys as a kid a few times, tho) and have only seen the movie once..........what the hey was that he saw. Or, what scam procedure were they trying to show?

The kid was using loaded dice, and switching them in and out of the game. It wasn't so much "x-ray vision", but rather he spotted his move. (If you notice, he softly says to himself, "amateurs.......")

ahh, I see....that's why they portrayed 4 dice in his hand, 2 loaded & 2 regular. Manager really didn't see through his hand, movie just gave that effect to reflect his thoughts. And he just busted him on intuition, per se. Thanks, yyz, that was buggin me.

yes....the "vision" was for the viewers to comprehend what he was thinking.
