Starts tonight....lots of interesting games to breakdown, so lets discuss them beginning with tonight's one and only game of the challenge:
Michigan -2.5 at NC State O/U 134.5
Any thoughts on this one!?!?!
Initially, i find it odd that Michigan is favored. Here we have NC State, a better basketball school than UM, playing at home.....they've been to the tourney now several years in a row while Big Blue has missed out on the NCAA's every year since 1998.
Wouldn't this be a break out win of sorts for Ammaker. Are they ready to win a tough road game against an ACC foe. I feel like they should be getting a bucket or two, rather than being installed as the favorite.
Bottomline, we dont know much about either team as this will be the first legit test for both squads. I am not in a rush to bet NC State, but give them the overall edge because they're at home. And, as a follower of Michigan and the BIg 10, i can say that i dont have a lot of confidence in the Wolverines, who have been teasing their fans the last couple of seasons with NIT-quality basketball.
So, i give a small lean to NC State.....any and all commentary on the ACC/Big10 challenge games are welcome....let's talk some hoop and find some winners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
