Florida St. -5 (8 units)..................Good as spot as any to fade this Boston College team who is seriously lacking depth in the rotation. Dudley is a stud, but he is playing the full 40 minutes, and while he has done this staying out of serious foul trouble, one has to wonder when this will catch up to him. Seminoles play well at home, and even went into Duke and came out with a win. I think we will see a tight first half, but expect FSU to pull away in the 2nd.
Maryland -1 (6 units)...............Terrapins and home cooking we be too much for an average Blue Devil squad to overcome. Duke is getting by on their name alone, and I will be happy to take my chances fading them on the road. This is usually the time of year that Gary Williams squads pick up the pace. My only concern was last loss to Virginia, but if anything, they should be a lot more focused when Coach K comes to town. I will take Maryland in what essentially amounts to a pickem.
