Virginia Tech will win this game. I know it's their first road test and BC has had 2 weeks to prepare for this game. But this will be BC's first test of the season after having two relatively soft opening games. I think the key position here is the QB position. Tyrod Taylor is better than BC's Shinskie. Shinskie really struggled against VT last year, and will again this year. Prediction: VT 27 - BC 17
NC State @ Georgia Tech (-8) 58 (Sat. Noon)
This is a very important matchup early in the ACC season. NC State is a bit of a surprise being 3-0 so far this season. Ga Tech's offense sputtered early, but is starting to get its act together. NC State will score their points in this game. Russell Wilson is an impressive QB. This game will hinge on NC State's ability to contain the option offense. Having 9 days to prepare is certainly a plus. This game will be close and a fun one to watch. In the end, I think Ga Tech has just a bit too much for State...but just barely. Prediction: Ga Tech 34 - NC State 31
Florida Int'l @ Maryland (-12) 45 (Sat. Noon)
Maryland has to be careful of a letdown following the loss at West Virginia. Don't let FIU's 0-2 record fool you. They aren't a cupcake and the line is 12 for a reason. Maryland isn't gonna outscore anyone by double digits with ease, and FIU's offense is capable enough to hang in there. I don't trust my money with Maryland. Prediction: Maryland 20 - FIU 13

Army @ Duke (-6.5) 55.5 (Sat. 3pm)
This may be my favorite play today. Duke had an opportunity last week to show that it has improved on a nation stage and choked on it big time. Fact is, their offense has some talent, but their defense sucks.....especially their rushing defense. And in comes Army, a good rushing team. I think Army will rush the ball successfully. The first half will be back and forth but over time, Duke's tiring D will be the difference and Army will win this game outright. Prediction: Army 33 - Duke 31
Wake Forest @ Florida St. (-20) 62.5 (Sat. 3:30pm)
Wake Forest is a tough team to get a handle on this year. In their 3 games, they've dominated a nobody, barely outscored an improving Duke team in an absolute shootout, and got killed last week against a quality team in Stanford. However, I think the line of 20 points is a big overreaction to last week's beatdown. Florida State is still getting better themselves, but laying 20 points is just too much here. They win the game, but not by enough to cover. Prediction: FSU 34 - Wake 23
North Carolina (-2.5) @ Rutgers 44.5 (Sat. 3:30pm)
Honestly, I'm a bit surprised that the Tarheels are favored here. They still need to prove that they can win a game. I do believe that UNC has a superior offense and should win the game....but I have no confidence that will happen. Rutgers knows what a win feels like....in fact, they have two. They also have 2 weeks to prepare and for motivation, all they have to do is look back 2 years ago when the Tarheels thumped them. I really like the under in this game as I think the defenses will control. This game will hinge on a special teams or defensive score. Prediction: UNC 17 - Rutgers 16
