So here is what I am looking at:
Lions -3
Atalanta -3
Packers -2.5
Saints -7
Dallas -6.5
Any imput would be great...goal is to get my account to 10,000 from 1,000.
the first four weeks have been nice...i havn't had a losing week yet....so not planning on it this week
:nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:
thoughts...hmmmm....
lions, been playing the role of dog to a tee, then again so has STL. while det has a semi improved DEF, STL
APPEARS to the better balanced squad (both sides). While i have both as play-against teams this week, a trend has STL as the play --so if were to touch, RAMS would be play.
ATLANTA will not, let their good fortune from bone-headed INT return by SF be lost with poor outing here. With seneca at the point I woulda hesitated at backing ATL, however, hillis is slowed with injury and Delhomme is returning which means AT LEAST 2 turnovers. Close game throughout with CLV surrendering 1st rushing TD ty and ATL closing strong, win by 2 td's -thats jus a hunch, but is the feel i have on that game
Packers WERE my best bet, with their lack of finishing, has found them due to cover, though plethora of injuries has this looking less like something worth being on at all. with a line like 2.5 you say--all they hafta do is win, though their lack of running game (amazed havent been able to carry with passing attack) has slowed their OFF ability to bury oponents and win going away...still, 2.5 is low, kinda win and cover line. LEAN (at best): GB
SAINTS havent covered, due to lack of explosiveness on BOTH sides of ball. Porter their best CB is out, definitely miss R Bush, so is Pierre Thomas, though Chris Ivory is a monster in the making, jus needs to protect ball better and WILL make impact. Couldnt help but notcie Payton work in the uber-talented rookie TE they have GRAHAM, on a running play of all things (as watched entirety of NO?CAR game with wager on CAR winning SU). AZ, starting Max Hall from BYU, knows they have a smart QB that WILL at least find FITZ in EZ ONCE, and prolly for 100... WELLS can certainly find room against this NO def and the balance should be there, to see a match for match score type of game. While i had NO coming into week as a play-on team, quickly checked that at door when found out opponent was AZ(but more so, with unknown -of sorts- QB change). This is a win by 10 or lose outright game.... not alotta game film on hall, give NO fits? Thats a no touch -for me
TENN let orton play DEN back into game. Neither DEN or DAL have running games to speak of, so from off standpoint the attack should be the same. Right now i'd give DAL's off slight edge over DEN's on talent level alone... though orton seems to have consistency part down...which, when it comes to DAL is issue on both sides of ball. After serious contemplation... see THIS, to prolly be best play of the bunch you have listed.
...personlly, see BUFF winning. Effort in games wk in and wk out find THEM, on winning side tomorrow.
Oakland has had 2 wins in their grasp--and competed, it seems, throughout (with possibly exception of 1st w/campbell? v. tenn) though lose in flurries once late 3rd, 4th Qtrs roll around. Houston -it seems- been running on fumes of the potential of what their team SHOULD be. injuries to best player will do that, as well as transition in OFF mentality (more run, less pass), though their DEF, despite getting cushing back TW has weaknesses that OAK SHOULD exploit for cover, if not SU win.
prolly the weirdest looking week soo far...lotsa, if not all games -in my mind- can have case made for either side to win.
sorry for getting carried away. my 2c. GL with what you end up taking. will try eye out to see
WHEN you hit your goal :0074
