ACORN, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, voter fraud and Obama

One Big Clustermess of Corruption
No issue is more important for people to familiarize themselves with before this election than this. No matter what side you're on, no matter what your political issue of choice may be, no issue is more important to the outcome of this election than voter fraud. You can do all of the research you like on the economy and healthcare, but when you go and pull that lever on election day your vote may not count because thousands of mailed-in illegal ballots with the names of dead people may be canceling your vote.
So where to begin?
Who is ACORN?
According to their site, ACORN is the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now and is a non-profit, non-partisan social justice organization with national headquarters in New York, New Orleans and Washington, D.C. To maintain independence, ACORN does not accept government funding and is not tax exempt. They say that...
"ACORN is the nation?s largest grassroots community organization of low- and moderate-income people with over 400,000 member families organized into more than 1,200 neighborhood chapters in 110 cities across the country. Since 1970, ACORN has been building community organizations that are committed to social and economic justice, and won victories on thousands of issues of concern to our members, through direct action, negotiation, legislative advocacy and voter participation. ACORN helps those who have historically been locked out become powerful players in our democratic system.
Community organizing: Each of the 1,200 local ACORN neighborhood chapters in 110 cities and 40 states brings neighbors together to work for stronger, safer and more just communities."
There's that title again, "community organizer".
Voter Fraud
ACORN, in truth, is nothing more than a group of community organizers that have engaged in voter fraud, voter intimidation and mortgage scams in at least 13 states. Some of their tactics include scouring cemeteries and registering the dead, flipping through phone books and registering people at random (sometimes multiple times), using fake social security numbers, phony addresses that don't exist and busing people across state boundaries to vote in battleground states.
Just today the Las Cruces Sun-News from New Mexico reported that 1,100 suspect voter registrations turned up in the Bernalillo County clerk's office.
http://www.lcsun-news.com/ci_10489323
The Wall Street Journal's Market Watch says that those cards were submitted by ACORN who has handled 72,000 new voter registrations in New Mexico since January. Some of those have come under fire for obvious fraud, things such as registrations with no SS number, non-existent addresses, names and SS numbers not matching, etc. The county clerk had this to say about the suspect registration cards...

"In addition, "We do have a series of cards identified that appear to be (names) taken straight out of the phone book, Toulouse Oliver said."
Now this is nothing new for ACORN, they have been prosecuted for this in many states.
Washington
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the worst case of voter-registration fraud in the history of the state of Washington. There has been nothing comparable to this," state Secretary of State Sam Reed said at a news conference with Satterberg, King County Executive Ron Sims and Acting U.S. Attorney Jeff Sullivan.
Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Stephen Hobbs told the board that six ACORN workers had admitted filling out registration forms with names they found in phone books last October. The canvassers filled out the forms while sitting around a table at the downtown Seattle Public Library, Hobbs said."

Missouri
"ACORN and Project Vote recruit and assign workers to low-income and minority neighborhoods to register people to vote.
The Kansas City Election Board told KMBC they found suspicious forms, such as seven applications from one person and an application for a dead man.
"There is some motive behind it -- this is not accidental," said Ray James with the Kansas City Election Board.
Election officials said some of the application cards had false addresses, signatures and phone numbers.
Last month, ACORN claimed to have processed more than 35,000 voter registration applications in Kansas City since the summer. "
http://www.kmbc.com/politics/10214492/detail.htmlOhio
"ACORN?s recent run-in with the Franklin County elections board for allegedly turning in falsified voter registration cards is only the latest in a long-standing pattern of dubious elections practices. ACORN employees have been accused of submitting bogus voter registration cards and forging signatures on ballot initiatives in 12 states since 2004."
http://www.epionline.org/news_detail.cfm?rid=171
Florida
"When ACORN led a ballot initiative to raise Florida?s minimum wage in 2004, a Florida Department of Law Enforcement spokesman said ACORN was ?singled out? among suspected voter registration groups because it was ?the common thread? in the agency?s investigations from one end of the state to the other. One blatant example of voter fraud includes registering 68-year-old Charles Shuh, a former Democratic mayor of St. Petersburg, as a 30-year-old female Republican."http://www.epionline.org/news_detail.cfm?rid=171Pennsylvania
"A voter registration drive by a national organization is being investigated by Dauphin County authorities after election officials raised questions about more than 100 of the forms.
Charles Jackson, a spokesman for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, said that his organization fired a temporary employee involved in collecting registrations and that it has been cooperating with Dauphin County detectives."

As well as illegal activity in several other states.
Community Organizers: Intimidation and public disruption
Just like Obama, ACORN is made up of community organizers. Some of the tactics that ACORN has employed are threatening to occupy congressional offices, interrupting the testimony of General David Petraeus, disrupting Federal Reserve hearings, bursting into a Chicago closed city counsel meeting, as well as disrupting a bankers? dinner in Baltimore and sending four busloads of profanity-screaming protestors to the mayor?s home, terrifying his wife and kids.
According to the Chicago Daily Herald, Acorn demonstrators pushed over the metal detector and table used to screen visitors, backed police against the doors to the council chamber, and blocked late-arriving aldermen and city staff from entering the session.
That folks is what a community organizer does.
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
The Wall Street Journal also had this to say about ACORN
"Operating in at least 38 states (as well as Canada and Mexico), Acorn pushes a highly partisan agenda, and its organizers are best understood as shock troops for the AFL-CIO and even the Democratic Party. As part of the Fannie Mae reform bill, House Democrats pushed an "affordable housing trust fund" designed to use Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac profits to subsidize Acorn, among other groups. A version of this trust fund actually passed the Republican House and will surely be on the agenda again next year.
Acorn and its affiliates have pulled some real stunts in recent years. In Ohio in 2004, a worker for one affiliate was given crack cocaine in exchange for fraudulent registrations that included underage voters, dead voters and pillars of the community named Mary Poppins, Dick Tracy and Jive Turkey. During a Congressional hearing in Ohio in the aftermath of the 2004 election, officials from several counties in the state explained Acorn's practice of dumping thousands of registration forms in their lap on the submission deadline, even though the forms had been collected months earlier."
Really? So democrats pushed a bill that would use profits from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the two mortgage giants that the US government had to bail out) to subsidize ACORN? Isn't that interesting? Isn't it also interesting that Obama is the 2nd largest recipient of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac donations in the whole United States government between 1989-2008, 2nd only to Democratic Senator from Connecticut Christopher Dodd who is the chairman of the Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee that both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac report to directly.
http://banking.senate.gov/public/
http://www.football-junkies.net/forums/blog.php?b=16
Hmm.....
So what do we have so far?
We have a group of community organizers that are being funded by a democratic bill that funneled profits from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to them, and who have been convicted of voter fraud in the worst way in at least 13 states.
Does that bother anybody?
Our government just bailed out these two groups with $200 billion (with a "B") dollars from the Treasury and stocks fell sharply causing people to say this was next great depression in the making.
Are you listening yet?
Obama's ties to ACORN
So other than the contributions that he took from the mortgage giants, how does all this connect to Obama?
Here is where it gets interesting.
Again, according to the Wall Street journal and several other sources...
"In 1992, Acorn Hired Mr. Obama To Run A Voter Registration Effort. He Later Became A Trainer For The Group, As Well As Its Lawyer In Election Law Cases."
http://www.wsj.com/public/article_print/SB121581650524447373.html
The Associated Press wrote about one of those law cases back in 2007...
"Representing The Association Of Community Organizations For Reform Now (ACORN), Obama And Other Attorneys Sued The State Of Illinois, Forcing It To Implement Federal "Motor Voter" Legislation That Makes It Easier For The Poor And Minorities To Register To Vote."
So what exactly is the "motor voter" legislation and what did lawmakers think of it at the time?

"The core provision of the so-called ''motor-voter'' bill, sponsored by Senator Wendell Ford, Democrat of Kentucky, would require states to enable eligible voters to register to vote when they apply for a driver's license or license renewal. That would be a tremendous boost for enrollment, since about 90 percent of voting-age Americans drive. The impact on actual turnout, while harder to forecast, would probably also be significant, since roughly 8 registered voters in 10 go to the polls.
Other provisions would permit registration by mail, and make registration forms available at public agencies like welfare and unemployment offices. The bill would also end the destructive practice of purging voters from the rolls simply for not voting.
One complaint is that the bill could lead to voting fraud. The House version, however, contains strong anti-fraud provisions that could be incorporated into the final bill. Mr. Dole also says the new Federal requirement would usurp state authority"
So even back in 1990 there was a fear that this legislation, that Obama sued the state of Illinois and forced them to adopt, would lead to widespread voter fraud.
Not only has ACORN benefited from legislation thanks to Obama, but they also benefited from donations from Obama. The Chicago chapter of ACORN received grants of $45,000 (2000), $30,000 (2001), $45,000 (2001), $30,000 (2002), And $40,000 (2002) from the Woods fund of which Obama was a board member. Obama also falsified his FEC (Federal Election Commission) filings by hiding a $800,000 payment to a satellite group of ACORN known as Citizen Services Inc, which he had to amend back in August.
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pitt.../s_584284.html
http://ifs.donorsforum.org/
Starting to see a pattern here?
ACORN has endorsed Obama and has pledged to spend $35 million dollars to register people for this election. http://www.wsj.com/public/article_pr...524447373.html
So folks, is there any doubt that Obama is in bed with seriously corrupt people? ACORN is a group that he has long been associated with and a group that he has personally donated almost a million dollars to, as well as funneling alot more money to them through foundations and the flailing mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. I've pointed out to you the lengths that this group will go to in order to cheat the system and I've shown you what exactly it is that a "community organizer" does.
You want some good news?
Michelle Obama has a plan to have a government funded community organizer bootcamp which would cost taxpayers $500 billion dollars. As Barack put it...
"We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as the military"
http://www.investors.com/editorial/...rticle&id=305420655186700&secid=1501Umm....no thanks
Folks, if this stuff doesn't make alarm bells go off in your head, absolutely nothing will. We can't allow Obama to further corrupt our government, he's done a great job so far and he has plans to do even more.
