13 wins 9-5
12 wins 4-1

SC, did you mean to say 10-1 on them going undefeated? The last line I saw was 8-1 to win all 16 games. I haven't figured out the math, but it seems to me it would be more profitable to bet them on the moneyline 8 times

Hank Goldberg got it at 75-1

I read the article again and twice it states 100-1.

Quoting Chuck Esposito (VP of R & S operations) "We have made KC 100-1 to register a perfect undefeated record this season"

I'll let you know tomorrow.

chiefs could lose to den if plummer is back:shrug:

outside of that, the only team that may trouble them is TN in the playoffs. however, at the current rate the chiefs would have home field adv.

There's so much talk about there only being 2 teams on the Chiefs sked that can beat them - Denver and Minnesota. Virtually everyone else I have heard on this subject assumes that the other 6 games are already in the bag. When the players get interviewed, they are constantly asked about going 16-0. I have a strong suspicion that if the Chiefs get tripped up, it will happen before they even play the first of those two teams (Denver) in Week 14. Two weeks from now in Cinci it could happen. Hell, anything can happen.

No I don't think Detroit, Chicago, San Diego, etc can really compete with them. Chiefs will be more than ready for Denver and Minny, but take someone else for granted. That seems to be the way these things go.

Anyone remember 1998? Broncos start off 13-0, and look like they have a realistic shot of running the table. All that stands between them and a perfect season is a Week 16 game @ Miami (9-4 record at the time). All the talk was about can the Dolphins of today protect the Dolphins legacy of yesterday. They never had to protect it though. The Broncos lost 20-16 to the 5-8 NY Giants in Week 15 instead. Who'da thunk they'd lose to a sub-.500 team? :D :D (And then they went on to lose that Miami game too).

Having said that, if I could get 100-1 on this, I'd take it in a heartbeat. $100 to win $10,000 is just too good to pass up.

I am not sure if I am reading this post right. At Ceasars palace they are offering the Chiefs 100-1 to go 16-0 for the season?
NOV. 6th you can bet this????

Pinnacle sports book has
Sun 11/9 Will The Chiefs go 16-0 (during the reg Season)?

Yes +799

No -999

Put $100 at Ceasars to win $10,000 if Chiefs do go 16-0

Put $1000 at pinnacle to win $100 if chiefs DON'T go 16-0

Win $9000 or break even. Sounds good to me.

Makes no sense to me why Ceasars has 100-1 at this time and date. Did i read this wrong? If its true, i will drive to vegas and place a bet.

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Senor,

I'm seeing 9/1, 8/1 everywhere. Hope you got your 100/1. ESPN reported it dropped from 100/1 to 4/1.

Of course ESPN is becoming a joke, so I checked out their bogus report, we all know the rest.

Lanny are you in for Sunday? Gave up my lower level section 139 seats (40 yd line) for a bunch of cash. I have a spot for you in a suite for Sunday, comped.

Fly in for less than $250, I pick up the rest. Let me know by tonight if you can.

As far as the Chiefs going 16-0, I say their chances are miniscule at best. Their depth is a major concern, and they are lucky to have almost NO injuries this year.

Of course, they can't afford to overlook anyone, but next week's Bungal game worries me the most in the near future.

Hey Senor...

Speaking of action....and I know I must have missed this long ago....so I apologize.....but are you not going to be able to get the total number of dollars bet on teams at a book like you did last year for the "Yikes" series?

Just was wondering.....cause it sure was a helpful tool.

Thanks
