Philadelphia +124 over ST. LOUIS 500/620
Both Smith and Duckworth threw a lot of pitches last time out, but Duckworth had an extra day to rest while the Cards played straight through. Veres and Kline have pitched two of the last three days while Hackman has pitched all three. Stechshulte is their only other reliable reliever. Wendell and Cook will probably not pitch tonight but Santiago, Bottalico and Mesa should be able to fill in without a problem. Philly's lineup is still very hot even though they didn't get the clutch hits they needed late yesterday.
