Been working on a method I used a little in college football for college hoops the last two weeks and it has been doing very well. I'm now ready to start laying some coin down on these selections after the two week trial.
It consists of four different numbers, the spread, the difference in power ratings, strength of schedule, and the home court advantage. Add them all up and look for teams where they have a distinct advantage in points over the other team. Little more to it than that, but that is the premise behind it. Won't be any write-ups with these selections as I base the selectioins on the points only. They will be rated either a 1*, 2*, or a 3* depending on the point differential between the two teams.
Kansas -15 2*
Cinncinatti -5 1/2 1*
U Conn. -17 1/2 1*
Boston College -3 1*
Alabama -11 1*
Wisconsin +2 1*
Pennsylvania was also a 1*, but I didn't realize they started at 2:00 PM, but look solid so far. I usually have more dogs than this, but have to go with what the numbers say.
