Mich St has a decent enough defense to flip the field and allow their offense to accidentally find ez (however, mst is 6-1 ats their L7)

Houst +15'--they will hang with Lville
hous definitely has a good def, though a fresh qb --who has played well --they played to the last snap, an inc into the ez from inside the 10 for the win. they DID force 2 to's inside the 10, so there were points that couldbve been scored (against them) there --I agree, on paper this really favors hous, especially since ville play to level of their comp if their opp has any fight in'm (which you would think, hou would) lville could be due for a cover, as are only 1-4 L5

Ok -25--they are mad-M Uoo U sucks big time-they have quit (no idea what game this is)

GA +4-healthy now and dangerous
battle of contrasting ats streaks
auburn is on tear (7-0 ats L7, 8-2 ats overall, and GA is 0-6-1 ats L7 with only ONE win ats, in 2nd week - 1-7-1 ats overall) Georgia did sleepwalk last wk 1st half vs app st (14-6 1st half, but couldn't put enough points up 2h to cover the 40, winning by 39) if ga stops the run, can aub score with dawgs, tenn didn't have enough speed to keep up with aub's speedster, and showed doubly on poor sp teams

Fla St -38--Syr is terrible -Semis not happy about their play last week
i cant see how you would think noles thought they played poorly -- because they didn't put up 70? they did get 7 to's if not mistaken -- and yes, cuse do stink, getting rolled by a clemson team that looks to have the same kind of offense power that fst has, though noles have better looking defense than clem did

SMU-14-- SMU will score 40--Conn-no offense
conn is sneaky bad. they have the look they could compete, then you look up and they're down double digits. they only have 2 covers, 1 coming last wk, against prev mention lville cards - the other almost pulling the upset against mich --both in non-sat games (primetime, tv) they usually disappear on reg sat game, which is why they are 2-6 ats overall

NW-3--worst Mich team in many years--NW getting healthy--this game is their season
i like nwestern here, even though they have problems putting points on teams that they should. line looks sketchy. they have 1 cover (last wk) in a gm they shoulda won v Nebraska and are 1-6 ats L7 -but are on a 5gm losing streak --are at a level of finding how to lose games now? in their heads?

Neb getting 6'--agreed on this one Hawk. Nebraska @ home not often a dog and they won L2 vs MSU, MSU going into hostile grounds in Lincoln plus check the ref assignments for this game, Big 12 report. Armstrong should be ready to play, he got a few bad knocks last wk and Nebraska using Mart in slot back and other running plays not at the QB position for NU.
Houst +15'--Houston is as good imo to UCF, young QB isn't afraid of any hype and stuff, UL overhyped did not impress vs U Conn LW.
Ok -25--ISU is going to part ways with Rhoades soon after their season is done at ISU, Sooners off that bad a beat and at home only rebound imo
GA +4 - for me high scoring affair, it's going to come down to turnover and lately GA has made more than they can afford, that game should be a pickem
Fla St -38- Last time Syracuse won on ACC rd at NC State they went to GA TECH and got slaughtered 56=0 and FLA St will play lots of players in this tilt once they are up, they didn't have Winston pass as much and he played sparingly 2nd half LW. FSU should romp.
SMU-14-- U Conn no wins, SMU has a way of not covering as a dd fav Hawk and they showed that 2 wks ago, they should have won by 19 or more and didn't cover closing number most of us got on them.
NW-3--NW got cursed one Mike n Mike showed up on campus and haven't been da same since Ohio St torched them with BDC turnover. Michigan doesn't lose 2 in a row often, neither does Brady bunch. NW has many injuries still, QB for Michigan is still a bit stiff in his neck, but ready to play. Not often Michigan a dog to NW.

Just my opinion Hawk, been too busy to post this season:

Neb getting 6'--Mich St can't score
Freshmen QB for Nebraska going up aginst one of the 5 defenses in the country. Michigan State did struggle to score, but that was early in the season, in the Big 10, the Spartans have statistically the 4th best offense and they have averaged 31 points per game. Nebraska seems like a team of destiny after the Hail Mary win over NW, but I cannot get the Minnesota game out of my mind where they were simply manhandled. Personally, I will pass on this game, but if I did bet it, I would take the Huskers.

Houst +15'--they will hang with Lville
I circled this one too, hard to believe but the Cougars make their living with their defense. The COugs have the 2nd best defense in the AAC, based on conference games, but the Cards are number one. What scares me about this game is this is the Cougs 3rd straight road game and this has always been a good trend to play against a team on the last leg of a 3 game roadie.

Ok -25--they are mad-M Uoo U sucks big time-they have quit
Iowa State's offense is horrid, I watched a little of the game with TCU and both offenses were brutal. If Okie doesn't have a Baylor hangover, they should maul this team.

GA +4-healthy now and dangerous
I like this game over the total.

Fla St -38--Syr is terrible -Semis not happy about their play last week
Seminoles, not happy with their offense last week? Not sure about that, they were up 45-0 before half-time. One thing to keep in mind in this game, if Seminoles get a big lead they will pull Jameis, and will be playing a novice QB since the 2nd team QB got hurt last week and is out for the season. Seminoles have way too much speed for Cuse, this game should get ugly.

SMU-14-- SMU will score 40--Conn-no offense
UCONN is terrible on offense and SMU is averaging 43 points per game in the AAC. UCONN is going to start a redshirt QB this week, it will be his first start and on the road. SMU should cruise.

NW-3--worst Mich team in many years--NW getting healthy--this game is their season
Michigan is definitely in a funk and one dimensional on offense. The only thing that concerns me is that NW seems snake bit this season. I got on NW early at -2, but still think they win and cover in this one.

What's your thoughts on BC, NCST coming off a tough loss where they completely melted down in the 4th quarter. BC is very physical and should control the trenches.

Excellent stuff. Yea I think Neb Qb has not meet a def like this one and they will pressure him alot--he has had 2 kind of miralce like finishes.
I wnat NW to win to keep Mich in a funk for the Iowa game next week.
Okie and SMU are my top 2 plays out of those.

BC-I think NCSt has given up somewhat but they I thought actually outplayed Duke--Duke had 3 non off TD's and NCSt outgaieind them. Just bad things happening to St now-it might continue. I have BC by 9 so close to the :shrug:line--gl

:scared

Is this in print some place or you guessing or do you know someone on the inside in Ames?
Moo U would be stupid to fire Rhoades, he lives for Iowa State. And its not his fault that they have had to start an entirely different offensive line in every game this season due to all the injuries they have had.
A friend of mine is friends with Ethan Tuftee's parents; I'll ask him to ask them if they have heard any rumors re: Rhoades getting canned...

FWIW, I'll be on Ok - the number. Iowa State is just plain horrible this season....

Agree on OVER for the Auburn game.

Wouldn't touch the side. Could be a 3 point win or could be a 10-14 point win

Hey Redsfann, no it's not in print, it's thru the rumor mill of folks I know who happen to live and are alum of ISU, etc. It's not that Rhoades isn't loved their and he does eat, breathe and sleep ISU football, but he's not getting any support from the powers that be and financially, this school isn't in as good a shape as it was years ago when Johnny Orr coach buckets there. They dropped baseball of all sports and a few others when TITLE IX came about. Rhoades is frustrated and all you have to do is listen to his after game press conferences and watch his body english.

I like the guy personally, but I really don't think he will stay at ISU either by leaving for something else or by the board of regents punting him.

Just my 2 cents.
