It doesn't come to no surprise that there is a tremendous amount of weekness in the overall market....From the Vice-presidents warnings on the Sunday talk shows about an imminent major strike here at home, didn't sit well with investors and last weeks great run, the profit takers were out in force and heading out the door...

After reassessing the overall situation the next plays will most likely occur in the energy sector and mainly natural gas will be the front runner.

The drilling of new wells wasn't a priority the last couple of years, thus created a shortage and will result in higher consumer prices and the need to drill new wells in both Canada and the US is becoming a necessity.

Investors looking for ways to profit from these rising prices should consider well-managed junior energy companies on both sides of the border with a heavy weighting towards natural gas.

Their shares are likely to climb as their revenues climb, but one aspect with this is that they could be snapped up by larger energy companies rather than do the drilling themselves.

Patience is the key here and a well managed company will in a very short time reward shareholders.....

I will check out a few smaller companies and have the pick of the week this weekend..

If anybody has an energy pick, please post it

Have a good day...
